A pretty, small, safe for swimming, a lovely place to visit all year round. You can often see engaged couples getting their wedding photos taken. The Russian house at the end is worth a visit as is the Badaguan area to walk around and admire the trees and the authentic German built houses, still occupied. Lovely to fly a kite... More

Qingdao Second Beach can be reached right through Badaguan Scenic Resort. I went during winter, so it was not possible to play in the sea or to sunbathe, I even had to wear dawn jacket and the wind still went inside it. It's a nice beach, and it should be a very nice place to be in the summer.

Nice place to stroll, particularly in the off season , when tourists have left. Everyday different as the tide changes.

We had a great time here playing in the sand and paddling in the sea. We have been in October and May - both times the weather was lovely but not too crowded, even at the weekend. We didn't have to pay. Walls and Nestle ice cream also available! (though not much other food - we brought a picnic).

It is not worth visiting just to see this beach, however it is very enjoyable to walk along the promenade by the sea which takes in the beaches and Badaguan Scenic Area

January is not an ideal time to visit. However, well laid out promenade is well suited to warmer days. We must re visit again in summer

This bathing beach requires 2 yuan entrance fee, thus fewer people there. A small beach, but quiet, clean, softer sand. Highly recommended!

Unfortuinately like the other main beaches, too many people, over populated, crowded, dirty and not a very relaxing experience. Beaches to the north are much better...

I like it very much, and if I am free I always come here and have a walk here together my friends and families, you can feel the widthly of the sea
