Food quality is not as good even though the prices are similar to Minjiang and Yunxiao Road. The fish dumplings, which should be white when served at a decent restaurant, are obviously having pork fillings (you can tell by the pink colour), but are charged at the same price. The overall feeling when you are there before you decide which... More

Not a place for local. Consider really expensive to spent 400rmb on street food which I felt should cost only 200rmb. You can get better and cheaper food in Yun Xiao Road which is also a good whole stretch of local food and beer.

Beer Street it's ok, just lots of restaurants. You should go there from 7pm until around 11pm. After that, the street is dead. The food and beer is not cheap, but ok price. I was hoping to find very good and delicious seafood and I got disappointed, normal food, nothing special. One thing that I didn't like is that they... More

I went there during winter, and it was closed. I waited for quite some time from afternoon to night, and there was still nothing. The restaurant were all closed. Maybe it will get better in summer.

It's not a deep cultural experience or anything...try a few Qingdao beers on tap, there's one that has caramel/ roasted barley undertones. As for seafood, must try the grilled fish, crispy skin with tender white meat inside, and meat skewers, that all have more very Xinjiang like flavors. It's good for a leisurely evening chatting with friends in a very... More

Beer street is o.k. for a very green tourist who is making there first adventure into the outside world. It makes you feel like you are living it up Chinese style, but it is a tourist trap like you would not believe. The prices are high, the quality is low. As a result of the street's name, the brewery every... More

Since the visit was during Winter time, the street was very quiet. Some of the restaurants even closed or under renovation for the preparation of the peak season in Summer. The Beer Museum closes quite early (at 16:30) so make sure that you go before the closing. However, it means, you would need to hang around if you intend to... More

Beer everywhere during summer months. Entire street lined with kegs, every establishment drinking. Very lively over the summer

Had a great time in the Beer Street. Lots of fun, food and of course....beer!!!! This is a gathering place for people who just want plain simple night out. Lots of entertainment from street performers who go from bars to bars, table to table soliciting songs or music to play for a fee. While others became rowdy, they kept it... More

This is just another drinking and eating street. We walked there during the early afternoon therefore the drinking had not yet started. Along the street are many Chinese Restaurants. Since the Brewery on that street as well we went to check out if it is worthwhile to look at it. We decided not to since the fee's were just far... More
