The facility has easy access and is located on the oceanside highway (Donghai Lu) east of downtown. Bus # 317 which runs east from downtown on Donghai is a good bus choice. Taxis will be cheap, too, probably under $2.00 USD from the Sailing Center area. It has numerous small restaurants and cafes, wine stores, about 6 big restaurants, coffee... More

Second visit for us. First was a disaster due to the crowd; they let it overfill and due to the very bad ventilation it becomes really stuffy & on top you only catch glimpses of the animals. Second time was better because it was empty, my kids enjoy it more, and could see the animals without having to fight your... More

As a parent, I try to expose my kids to the wonders of life, and a half-decent marine animal center like Polar Ocean World ticks a box in that regard. The dolphin/whale shows are incredible. I wish that the animals were better cared for, but they are apparently ahead of the curve in this market - on my last visit,... More

I'm giving this 1 point as I can't give it zero. all the animals are stressed out and are not well looked after.

Awesome family adventure time. One of the best underwater and sea world parks I have been to. Beautiful underwater walk through aquarium, Dolphin shows, real penguins and polar bears! This is the place to see if you are an aqua fan. The kids love it. There is an excellent buffet restaurant in the complex along with a small dinosaur park... More

The Ocean World is not as beautiful as I think. Its kind of depressing, dark and humid. You do can see a lot of sea animals, take photos and go.

It was OK but I felt sorry for the animals rolled out every hour to perform. Lots of fish in aquariums to see but i preferred Underwater world.

It's a bit depressing, I admit. NOTHING compared to Sea World in the US. But some parts the animals swim right up next to the glass so you do see something. Not worth 180rmb though.
