It's a bit depressing, I admit. NOTHING compared to Sea World in the US. But some parts the animals swim right up next to the glass so you do see something. Not worth 180rmb though.

Its a beautiful place to walk outside. The beach in front of the Polar Ocean is wang jian mai dao. has a sidewalk in front of the beach, near to the water. Inside the park is just so so.

I went on a very quiet day, and reading some of the other reviews, I was lucky. I suppose its selling point is that it has a mixture of Arctic land and sea animals, and there was nothing wrong with it, but nothing special either. I did not consider the animals were any more cramped than in other zoos. To... More

Went in the winter and the place is practically empty. Quiet n peaceful to walk about, but the enclosure for the animal is sad. Most of the enclosure is too small. The Polar bear appear to have gone crazy by the cramped space as it repeatedly swaying it's head from left to right all the time. Dolphin enclosure, penguin enclosure... More

Went during the early morning on a weekday, but it was packed. They allow an unsafe amount of visitors in at once. You can't see anything or talk to anyone due to the crowd. All you can do is keep track of your friends and hope the floor doesn't collapse on your way out. Do not bother going unless you... More

This is a nice place, full of fishes and smart dolphins that look at your eyes through the mirror. It is impossible not to be captivated. Make sure you also see the show right before the exit. If you have visited Aquariums like the one in Atlanta you may not get impressed with the species variety, but the show with... More

This ocean world is the worst sea world I have visited ever: it is soooooooo crowd and noisy. You need to stay closed to your friends otherwise you have to meet each other again at the exit gate. You also need to yell to your friends otherwise you can’t hear each other. There are sweat and some other wired smell... More

Liked the HUGE display tanks and also the live performance. Able to spend 2-3 hours wandering around the good area.
