The daming lake is the biggest lake of Jinan, I visited it many times with friends and alone. Very nice place... relaxing too !!!
One of the main attractions in Jinan, a lovely lake like XiHu in Hangzhou. Good place to go for a walk. Only half the lake is covered by fence which means the other half is free if you don't mind walking further inwards.

You can go on boats there to get across. there are some monuments to look at too. There is strangely also a roller coaster there in the middle of the park. about 20sceonds of fun for you..
I used the little mini bus things they have for people to go around the lake. You can, however, walk around but it's huge and walking's not my thing! It is a lovely place though and worth a visit. It's free if you are over 60.
