The park is named after a natural spring which found in the middle of the city. The park is big enough to spend an hour or two for a relaxation. Try to avoid the holiday because many local tours travelled the park, then you won't be able to enjoy the real atmosphere of it.

Jinan, the capital city of Shandong province, is well known as the city of springs. The main attraction is this Baotu Spring Park and you can buy a through ticket for the nearby Daming Lake and Wulongtan Park as well. It's a quite large park with lots of water springs. I went there during snowy winter and the springs still... More

It is a beautiful place, although very 'done up' for tourists. None of the statues or artifacts are genuine - they are all modern reproductions. The garden itself is beautiful - be sure to check out the very strange gift shop.

I have visited the Baotu many times but never have I published on Trip Advisor. It is located in the centre of the city. Immaculately maintained, clean and you can see the glass like water and fish. There is not much to see but a good lie surly walk is refreshing . In one of the earlier visits we had... More

Small made made streams and stone display. Poetry, art and historic value are injected in. Beautiful gardens with a lot of Willow, roses and local plant. There is 2 resident seal as attraction (a part from the spring). A good place for a relaxing walk. Entrance fees 40Yuan

Picturesque, easy to reach, pleasant gardens, lots of water, seals, wild birds, free for foreigners (take your passport). Probably crowded in summer.

really nice only avoid going on weekends and holydays...If you are not use to Chinese snacks bring some food there no place to eat western food and you can spend the whole day there.. after you find your spot, you can just relax and enjoy the scenery. Great for family and going alone.

The Park is know for spring baotu. Fresh air, water and beauty of nature. It is believed that Baotu Quan's water has some healing effects. Although, park is small but decorated on traditional Chinese style.

The park is very well kept and it is a very rewarding experience to walk around the springs and the alleys, away from the nearby noisy center of the city

The park is quite well maintained. But not very big really. 2 hours more than enough to see 70 pct of the place.
