Relaxing whereas Jinan is polluted and noisy. Don't go there for the springs... i am not sure in it natural ones.

My first visit to the city of springs and the Number One Springs. It's a popular place as witnessed by the many people there on a sunny afternoon. Beautiful park setting with historical sites interspersed throughout. A nice boat ride around the canal is a must include part of your visit. There are some shops but my favourite was the... More

Last weekend, I went to Baotu Spring Park, located in Jinan. It is a small but delicately decorated park. The most amazing view to me is the waterside pavillion together with the stones and spring. They photographs well. I love the photos inside them, which brings me back to the ancient China.

Here the Chinese families come to relax at the weekends. Get to know your way aoorund because nobody soeaks English. Chinese theater for kids who really interact with the story teller characters. Rivers, boat trips, souvenirs (do not forget to spend 15 minutes bargaining the price). get lost there and you will no longer feel like a tourist. If you... More

We went to a karaoke place, which is quite big in China, some places as big as cinemas, with about 100 private rooms, with their own toilets and room service, at the invitation of Su Bi, who’d just phoned to invite us over. This place was near the large Inzone store, KTV and on the 10th floor. Very ornate as... More

The park is named after a natural spring which found in the middle of the city. The park is big enough to spend an hour or two for a relaxation. Try to avoid the holiday because many local tours travelled the park, then you won't be able to enjoy the real atmosphere of it.

Jinan, the capital city of Shandong province, is well known as the city of springs. The main attraction is this Baotu Spring Park and you can buy a through ticket for the nearby Daming Lake and Wulongtan Park as well. It's a quite large park with lots of water springs. I went there during snowy winter and the springs still... More
