It is a very beautiful park to go visit in spring, after after may, and see the tulips. Cost around 50rmb to go in, with discount for students (chinese schools and universities only). But beware of the tourist traps, like the amusement park -you have to pay for each attraction separated- and although they show the price for the toy... More

I enjoyed being able to wander around this wonderful park and enjoy the peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of the city for a day. The park is large, make sure you take lunch or buy some thing from the vendors there. I enjoyed the layout of the gardens depicting each region / city / country as... More

**This review is a duplicate of one I just wrote for the Shenyang Botanical Garden, because from what I can tell, they are the same thing, just a different name** We went here on Sunday, August 25th, 2013 and we were highly disappointed. The whole area is very large and I will admit that we didn't get to all of... More

We love the expo garden! We have been at least 3 times in the past year. It is fun for the kids (ages 5 and 7) and my husband and I. There are some beautiful gardens to walk through, great photo opportunities (including some with live animals- monkey, snake, peacocks, camel, etc), amusement rides- for every age, snacks and concession... If you like flowers and a park setting do not miss this. Plan to spend the day. Different flowers for different times of the year. You can rent pedal cars and there are shuttle busses for a small fee. Resturants and many things to see and do.

I went with two little girls so we go there at 10am and left around 3pm. We were exhausted. If you can ride then rent bikes otherwise it's hard to see the whole place. Ideally if you can afford to you could spend at least 2 days here if not 3. There are different areas to the park and we... More

So big. From tacky to fantastic! A great hike outside of a city filled with dirty air. As with so many expo sites hard to keep perfect after crowds leave. Great stop for horticulturists especially with so many plants labeled. Also we were there after first frost!
