Xinhai Park is located right next to the giant Xinghai Square. It is a lovely park at the shore, offering you nice places to stroll around and a small entertainment park to relax and have some fun with your kids/friends. I did enjoy it in summer and wintertime, even though during the hot months it tends to be quite crowded.

It is a big park. There isn't much to see, there is a run down amusement park and the beach was full of pebbles instead of sand but it was somewhere to spend a good afternoon in after a whole day in the office.

Very beautiful and open vast space. A lovely view of the sea in front you with a upcoming bridge on the sea. One the other side you can get a magnificant view of the impressive Dalian DOwntown with massive Highrises

Xinghai Park is a fun place to spend the afternoon. Great place to relax and listen to the ocean. Xinghai Park offers bungee jumping, amusement park rides(ferris wheel and a few others), zip lining, you can rent a boat, and visit an aquarium while you are there. Perfect place to take a blanket and sit out on the beach with... More

Nice by day, great by night. The night scene is wonderful with the park and momuments and restaurants. Great to be on a date or just to chill and enjoy seeing people around.

Relaxing seaside park to enjoy a beer and grilled squids in summer at the Hopscotch bar, refreshed by the sea breeze.

I had been to Xinghai guangchang and didn't notice that if you stay on the bus it takes you to the park. The park is much nicer. There's a beach to walk along and plenty of parks. There are people playing games and you can buy food and drink for very cheap from the vendors. I had read other peoples'... More

Can just walk around, see people snapping whips to turn tops, dancing, swimming, have BBQ, drink beer on the beach, or try the carnival rides. Also have bungee and big balls u can go in & walk on water!

This is a wonderful place.Despite the wind off the water the park was crowded with families and people just . The sculptures are scattered around create many focal points, and the thousand footsteps are inspiring, as is the open book.

There's a lot of activity that you can do here. But becareful when you play non-free game. Make sure you ask for the price and the other details (such as how many shoot you can make, how many ball you can throw, etc). Don't hesitate to say "bu yao" means I don't want, if somebody ask you something and you... More
