Just a basic water show with a lot more Chinese people who were more interested in taking photos of us than the water show.

A beautiful light and water show at night. It's free and not to be missed if you are in Nanchang after dark. The are two shows to see: the buildings around the park and those across the river are the "canvas" for one light show. Then the fountains in the park itself provide a second one, combining lights and water.

Amazing water and light show that you shouldn't miss. The place to eat before you watch the show is behind the main square next to the Shangrila Hotel as they have a variety of cafes and restaurants. If you have kids there is a small theme park area by the water show that opens in the early evening - don't... More

I saw this from our hotel room at the Shangrila, I guess it's a different experience seeing it from above than at land level, kudos to the Nanchang city government for improving public areas like this for the enjoyment of the public.

I actually decided to go and see the show because of the reviews on trip adviser. There are two shows per night. I caught end of first show, but being that the difference between the two is like 20 minutes it just gave me enough time for the crowd to clear and for me to get better position for the... More

Thankfully our guide knew how to skirt the parking and crowds and we made it just in time. This is a spectacular water show, especially considering it is free and huge! The water is set to music and the crowd is very appreciative of the highest shots, which are supposed to be about 130 meters into the air. Great laser... More

The water and light show provides a musical, fun evening, especially if you go with children. There are places to eat and carnival-style rides. Also, check with locals, as there are 2 times each night for the fountain show.

The musical water show is very nice and not too short or boring. But the last time I was there they cancelled the show so there where hardly people there and the area around it is very boring and in the evening there are hardly any people. However, you can still enjoy the view over the river to Nanchangs city... More

Find out the timings before you visit. If your in Nanchang this spot should be visited for sure. Had a great time here and near it there are lots of little eateries, come prepared to hog all you can.
