The Yunyan Pagoda, also known as the Leaning Pagoda, stands on top of Tiger hill and for me was the main attraction of Tiger Hill and why I went to Tiger Hill. I think the best time to go is mid to late afternoon, so you have enough time to climb the stairs and walk and get to the top.... More

If you are not the fittest person (like me) be aware of the steps to make it to the temple at the tip of the hill, Very pretty, well maintained gardens, the temple sits high on top of the Tiger Hill Park area - and on a clear day - you can see for miles. Lots of story, tradition and... More

This Buddhist temple (pagoda), situated at the pinnacle of the Tiger Hill Park is considered the most significant landmark of Suzhou, and is depicted in many of the official logos of Suzhou institutions. Known by many names; Tiger Hill, Huqui, Cloud Rock and Yunyansi, it has a more than a thousand-year old history with construction commencing in 959 AD and... More

When you visit Tiger Hill, the thing that stands out from the other is this leaning tower. Yes, it's a leaning tower aside from the Pisa Tower in Italy. Expect to encounter some stairs to reach the pagoda.

Worth a visit if you haven't done it many times before. Neatly kept grounds and garden. Worth a climb to the top on a clear day. A quiet little peace of haaaa to visit away from the crowds. People usually respect the calmness that these places command! So take a breather, sit and enjoy the Zen....!

A bit of a hike through the park, but worth it to see this pagoda. You cannot go inside it, but can get good photos from the back and sides if you don't want tourists posing in the front.

We couldn't get into the Pagoda but the gardens and Pagoda make for excellent photo ops. A lot of stairs to climb to get close to the base of the Pagoda making it difficult for some in our tour.

From the gardens to the Pagoda, this was an afternoon well spent. It is a relaxing and inspiring walk through the park. There was nothing I disliked about this park. Be sure to have your photo taken in front of the leaning pagoda.

Well worth it- the climb may be a little challenging for handicapped or elderly visitors. You can enjoy the canals and shopping nearby. I did not find it as well maintained as Hanshan temple but this leaning Pagoda is a must see for those who appreciate historical sites.

It's just great, and part of the Tiger Hill experience. Very beautiful and amazing building and absolutely something you don't want to miss out on in Suzhou.
