When visited China last year, the tour leader brought us to a beautiful lake in Suzhou. The lake was so large and we visited the quiet part of the lake where there were a lot of pink flamingo statues spreading on the lake. They made the panorama so beautiful with hi-rise building in the background. From distance, we could see... More

Jinji Lake is a small fresh water lake located in the central part of Suzhou Industrial Park. The air and the ambience here at the Jinji Lake is so peaceful and tranquil. A really good place to go especially in the early evening. There are also a good combination of restaurants available here to cater to ones hunger !

The Jinji Lake Area is really a pretty place to be around. To go out for a bite and enjoy the lights. And of course the show. To enjoy the show you should go to Dongfangzhimen . The only thing that's a bit disturbing is the quality of the water. It's pretty dirty. But that's usual...

This place is new and artificial in a city rich in history and culture. But it is a very suitable place for a business man to do a business dinner and drink, for the restaurants and pubs here are all very stylish, gorgeous, and luxurious. Certainly, the price is quite high. I like the draft HB beer in Hoffbrau.

Nice place nothing special, a few restaurants and an overrated laser and water show on a Friday and Saturday evening. A nice place to walk

I live with a view of this lake and it really is impressive with the way it has been laid out and planned. Every side has bike and walk ways - interesting sculptures (Suzhou is famous for them) and things to do. Small food places, markets, relaxing areas, bike (2 and 3 seaters) and carts for hire, toy stalls and... More

We dared to be at the lakeside in time for the water show. We weren't disappointed. The colors and music and fire and water 'dancing' were fun for kids of all ages.

The lake itself makes for a nice view. Various restaurants around it. Can't remember the names of all the restaurants we ate in, there was a Shanghai Min (a chain) and another one where they served supposedly Suzhou cuisine (including the famous squirrel fish). Good place to visit if you're staying in the industrial park.
