The whole area around Jinji Hu had recently been refaced. There are now large sidewalks along the lake with beautiful lawns with old trees. Times Square at the end of the lake just looks like any city's modern shopping and enterntainement areas - but still woth to go for a stroll or for evening amusement. There is a direct metro... Very nice 0lace and it is possible to walk or ride a bike around. But the smog makes visibility poor. And prices in restaurants around are very high

I was staying at the Crowne Plaza on the corner of the lake and woke every morning to the beautiful view accress the lake. On the far side, there id the cultural centre, moon harbour, the fun fair and some great restaurants, including a good tipenyaki and a German place that brews it's own beer.

Every side you go, there is something to do. When you are Lucky you have a beautifull view. But it depends on the weather and pollution so don't expect to much. After all you are in China. Great restaurants who sell western food for a decent price (as a foreigner) and great bars where you actualy can meet a lot... More

we had a good walk around the lake despite a rainy day. The surrounding are pleasant, and a parking just around the corner.

Our hotel sat near the lake. Nice for a stroll or even a run. I only walked part of it, but a coworker walked the entire circumference in under four hours. Pay attention to the pollution levels.

Came here to see the "ku zi" building. Locals call it that because it resembles a hanging pair of jeans hahaha. There's an art gallery nearby with interesting exhibitions.

Enjoyed waking up daily with a view over the Jinji Lake, when staying at the Crown Plaza. The lake itself is worth a stroll too, and has some good restaurants in the Li Gong Di area.

Beautiful lake.....some parts of the lake are very close to nature. Some of the malls are too close to the lake...creates a congestion of people....this could have been better planned.
