The whole place was so white. Big and small sculptures build from snow are everywhere and there are even two gigantic slides. It is very beautiful and very cold. It's so cold that the camera could even jammed at time! There are cafe spotted in the park. These cafe are build of snow! I had entered one of the cafe... More

We visited towards the end of feb - so not many people at sun island during the day. A lot of the ice sculptures had start to melt as well. Activities inside like ice buggies, slides ext.. (additional costs however). Good for a quick visit after the tiger park &/or polarland.

Much larger than the Ice Festival location, very spread out. Entails a bit of walking (though motorized transport available), Visited during daylight, 4 to 5 hours. Snow sculptures, both LARGE and small. Makes a nice day visit.

Awesome sculptures, a must see for all. Great to watch the teams at work, requires a whole lot of coordination, cooperation, and the result would be most satisfying to the participating teams. I would be proud if I had the opportunity to participate! Make sure you have good shoes!

Already visited the Ice festival the day before we have to say that the snow world can't compete with that one. Snow sculptures without lights on a grey day don´t create the right atmosphere all though it´s a great scenery they have accomplished here. We wouldn't pick this one if we had to choose just one.

See my review of Harbin Ice and Snow Amusement World about the many names given to the 3 Snow and Ice Festival venues. This is not one of their names.

The snow sculptures look amazing, ranging from about 3m tall, up to some HUGE ones, and the level of detail is pretty incredible too. Also a number of fun activities to take part in near the center of the park, such as sledding, skating, ice slide, snow mobile, etc. There are two visitor help centres located in the park, and... After crossing the big river from Harbin downtown, the Harbin Fantasy Snow World was really a special place to visit. The sculptures made of ice and so are very detailed and quite huge. There is much more to see like ploar bears and food.

Lots of exhibits. Like an art gallery in sub freezing temperatures! Take the bus. Lots of playing in the snow! Watch the artists at work. Some shows. dog sleds, snow mobiles, slides, etc. Find the tourist center for free tea, rest and warmth.

One of the main attractions in Harbin. Spent about three hours walking around the large park. Some of the sculptures are HUGE and so well thought through and finished, some very excellent "smaller" sculptures as well as wide range of things to do, like dog sleds (Felt sorry for the dogs and I think most western visitors felt the same)...
