at present being 'renovated' but ...

... enjoy adjacent shopping and restaurant mall, sit down and have a bottle of beer and watch the people walking around.

Just a place to ripoff tourists. A coconut can cost you 25rmb when you can get outside for 5-6rmb. A cocacola easily 15rmb when outside is 3.5rmb. Seashells are overpriced you can have better choices in downtown directly from fishermen. The shops have menu only in Chinese and Russian. But what about English. There are based on statistics more western... More

Then enter here. Otherwise just access the beach from any hotel. The security guards her can be quite rude.

This is one of the alternative places that offer a wide variety of Chinese and some western foods. Moderate priced, a lot of Chinese cuisines and mostly seafood. They have a Pizza Hut for all those die-hard fans of this traditional western fast food chain.

Its a good sized mall for a small area with several decent restaurants and several small independent shops. There are lots of very cute rides that will delight kids under 8 years old. We enjoyed the ambiance and the unpretentious nature of the place.

The Good: The hotel is located close to the beach The beach is clean and nice. The lobby is nice. The Bad: The resort was very bad. The room was uncomfortable with no place to sit but one chair that was always reclined. The balcony chairs were small wooden and very uncomfortable. The food was cold and never changed, always the... The beach here is nice but since we stayed at a resort near by, we are spoiled by the private beach at the hotel. I took my boys here to see the seashells and they loved it. The entrance for the square is 50 rmb per adult and free for children under 1.3 m. The seashell museum is free after... More

A quick half hour tour would suffice. The shell fish museum isn't that spectacular.
