I've been coming to Sanya Bay since 2006 and I've never experienced the excessive crowds, "painful sand", dirt (except to the extent that all sand is "dirt") or smells noted by others. I suspect that they may be visiting at other times of the year. (My visits have all been during the period from February to May.) Last month (March),... More

Nice view of boats and wrap of the coastline. Do not wear open sandals or go barefoot without having toughened your feet first, the beach consists of broken shell and it hurts! Water is murky, for clean water go to West Island.

No, this beach is not for me. A lot of people, and the beach is dirty. The best advice "Yalong Bay". There's only 5 and 4 star hotels and most of the beaches Resort. Quiet, calm, clean sea and Coral sand. What else is needed?

Its not so good for swimming but enjoy some watersports and/or some food or drink in one of the many beachside restaurants. Just relax.

We are staying near to the Sanya Bay and thus able to take a stroll to the beach anytime. However when we reach there, it was raining but luckily it has stopped. The water is clear and sandy. It's a great and quiet place for relaxation.

Even though Sanya Bay is not well maintained as Yalong Bay and Haitang Bay, it is still a very good beach for your trip location in Sanya if you consider your budge,it enjoys the longest beach in Sanya, has an easy access to Sanya International Airport, away from the flight path, this superb location offers all possible creature comforts with...
