I have stayed at the ocean springs while on business trips several occasions over the past year. It is a confusing place. It is very large, with two hotels, hot springs, amusement park and large board walk. On all of my stays the place has been almost deserted. The rooms are nice and clean though. The infrastructure seems to be... More

When I searched through some sites, this resort came across as a nice, likeable place. Dont be misled by the lack of enthusiasm in some of those reviews, this resort is pure unadulterated awesomeness. Heck, I'd go back to Zhuhai just for staying again at this place! The sheer variety of hot springs (red wine, green tea, coffee, milk, what-have-you),... More

This is a wonderful resort Known as Ocean Spring Resort and is where many people come from Hong Kong to get away from the city life. It is a very relaxing place to go and a great escape from the city life. It has a great amusement park with a big roller coaster as well as small rides for the... More

We visited Mysterious Island (part of Ocean Spring Resort) on a recent tour of Chinese theme parks. Having only a couple of hours here we didn't get the chance to try out al the rides, but can report back on our observations and experiences. The theming at the park is beautiful and the place is very clean and well looked-after.... More

I have been trying to find the hotel's reservation email address but it is no where to be found on their website. When i tried to get it off their online customer service representatives, they were very unhelpful and were not able to understand English and what I was asking. What level of service do you call this?

My boyfriend and I stayed at a hotel about an hour away, and had planned to visit another hotsprings resort. When we were told about Ocean Spring, we leaped at the mention of an amusement park beside it, lots of pools to choose from, and a large surrounding to walk around in. The resort itself was not as busy as... More

I was there two times with one year interrupt, to my opinion this is the best hot spring resort in Guangdong. They have both: open air baths and under the roof baths, it gives you opportunity not to be upset if it started to rain after you came there (free umbrellars available there everywere!) There are 2 baths with fishes... More

The Ocean Spring Resort has hotel (very average) themepark (didn't try it, but the rides looked modern) and theatre with water themed show, set in well maintained grounds in the Pearl River delta. The reason it all exists is the hot springs which are definitely worth a visit. You start in a large indoor area with cascading pools of 36-40... More

Ocean Springs Resort consists of three hotels, a theme park - "Mysterious Island", a restaurant/bar area - Fisherman's wharf, a theatre and the hot springs complex. Everything has been built on a very grand scale but mid-week was nearly-deserted and a bit run-down looking. Many rides in the theme park were not operating. Our group split up and those who... More
