I loved this park, easy to get to with the subway. Lots of people, doing dancing, exercising, even singing, yet peaceful and easy to get away from the noise. Quite fun to see the activities. There is a large lake in the park, and it is very pretty, with skyscrapers in the background, just like New York's Central park!

This happened to me about a year ago: My girlfriend & I were enjoying a nice picnic one early evening on a grassy patch at Lychee Park, and had just taken some stuff out of her handbag and placed it between us. Lychee Park is at the center of town and easily accessible from the Metro stop Da Ju Yuan. This Metro stop is the same one as MixC a big malI with everything in it and Carnival Spa (my favorite Spa in Shenzhen) I can't recall the exit but you can ask for "Lychee Yuan Lin" and people will direct you...
