This park, which is next to the China Folk Village, presents the country’s best cultural assets and landmarks (such as the Terra Cotta Warriors and the Great Wall) in miniature in one place. The experience is fascinating and gives the sensation of having seen China in a day.

Although the entrance ticket is not cheap, there are 2 main sights. One of the, is Splendid China, a miniature China if you like and a village show casing the 56 races in China. We took the donkey cart as we had 3 kids with us and R the rate of RMB400 for some75 min of guided tour, it was... More

Okay so this park is huge, there is a whole mini china which is wonderful to see everything China has to offer in miniature. Its a cannot miss park. There are different areas to see, such as a lake, shows, etc. The animal area was disgusting, the poor monkeys were caged in a place full of dirt with plastic bags, etc.... More

Nice Park in Shenzhen. Just outside the OCT Station (green Line) take Exit D and you are there. It is nicely made and you can see all or almost all landmarks from china as mini replicas. The Park seems pretty well maintained and clean. I visited also the Horse Battle Show. Was okay, all the announcments in chinese. There are... More

There is NOTHING of historical value in Shenzhen so they built this. It is sort of run down but a good place if you dont have time to see other parts of China. Just know that this is a tourist trap and the great wall is not so great. It is 12 inches tall.

Out of towners step on the models to take pictures of themselves on them even though clearly marked to stay out. Bumpkin behaviour typical of some people here. Not enough guards. You can tell a lot of work went into making the models and I wonder what the artists think of these people who step on them? Had my marriage... More

Great place to visit. It is a virtual visit in the whole China. One need to spend 1 full day to see every single miniature.

It's the absolute way of an overview and a virtual visit in the whole China's history and monuments! Hundreds of Chinese monuments in miniatures, from the Great Wall and the Forbidden City, up to the Summer Palace and to less known monuments. Constructed in the highest level of detail and accompanied with explanatory information and a short historical background. This... More

I really had my hopes high when i got there, i thought "hi, this is a great way to get to know chinese tradition and history". in fact it was boring, hot, long, and boring... go elsewhere. sorry for the bad review, i simply didn't like it.

Splendid China really helped me to see China in mini version. This place similar to Madurodam in Netherland, but because we were in China and I love chinese history so I did not want to miss any chance to visit this place. So, whenever you are in Shenzhen, do not miss Splendid China.

Its a nice place to spend a full day in culture of china. The dance shows were nice to watch, variety of shows there. Indoor cultural show at 5pm not to be missed.
