Not really an attraction as such, but a shopping and restaurant destination that is in a nice setting. As a foreign visitor take care as is easy to get to by taxi, but to leave getting taxi can be a challenge! Light and water show over lake for free in the evening is worth watching. Very popular destination, so just... More

Its kind a stylish and cozy dinning "village" based on the cost of sea. We visted this place late in the evening, so mostly of e lounges and restaurants were alredy closed, but the view of the spectaclular lights in the dark left impress For sure. Food was good, cocktails even better. Haha

Perhaps unique in China, the OCT harbor houses both a retail section and a dining section. Some of the restaurants like Shangahi Min and Duck de Chine are lovely. If you are in the neighborhood for Womders of the World it is a good place to stop and grab a bite. Shopping wasn't that interesting.

Inside Oct bay you can find lots of eateries, but all are expensive ones. We entered a cafe called La Cafe which had a nice river view, and ordered some drinks. The drinks were just so-so. There were some time-limited exhibitions to see (Hello Kitty exhibition, Eva Expo, Animation-themed Lantern Festival) but all required entrance fee. So we just wandered... More

Walked around the new and modern Oct Harbour Mall. A lot of modern restaurants and cafe. The man made river that flowed through outer part of the mall, added to the already beautiful surrounding. Tried the food at XIbei restaurant and it was quite good.

It's a relatively new recreational area with some parts of it are still under construction, so, new venues are opening almost every month. There be a new MTR station nearby soon, but now you would have to use a taxi or have a 10 min walk from Qiao Cheng East MTR station. There are several hotels (including Marriott executive apartments),... More
