I stayed in Luohu and the journey by car was about 45 min. Kinda long ride. Please note of the Peak hours. The zoo is big with satisfied number of animals who have their own good space and enclosure. There are show times which are highlights of the visit including animal circus. Quality of show is good for first timers.... More

This probably would have been better if we had more then 30 minutes to stop here, unfortunately it was part of a day tour and we stopped here just to see the two Pandas. The gardens are well maintained and it looks like the park is well maintained too, but as I said it was a flying visit on our... More

I stayed in Shenzhen for 12 days and this is by far the best thing I did. The zoo was amazing, the main reason being that aswell as seeing the animals you could also interact them. By paying an extra 10-20 RMB it was possible to feed both giraffes, bears and elephants, and for 50 RMB you can go in... More

Everything here was old and lack of renovation, it maybe a popular place in the 90's but not now for sure. We went to a so called "Historical Museum", the attendant was sitting there playing his mobile like he doesn't care about this place, there was no air-condition and extremely hot, we just left within 2 mins. Then here comes... More

Based on the reviews here I visited the Zoo with a friend. The fastest way to get to the zoo from the city center is by subway to "University Town". From there either walk (15 min), take bus 43 or taxi (6 min). Entrance fee was 200 CNY. The park is quite large and divided into sections. When you head... More

We loved this Zoo with some safari experience thrown in. Kids enjoyed it thoroughly and couldn't stop smiling all day. You can choose to see whole of the zoo on foot but with young kids we weren't sure if they will last the whole day. We took a horse cart ride (extra fee) to go for a circle around the... More

My 6-year-old just loves animals. Unfortunately, there is no zoo in Hong Kong, so I constantly find myself visiting zoos when we do out-of-town trips. I have been to quite a few in Japan, Thailand, Singapore, China, Australia, and Taiwan. I give this zoo a 5 star because it is so close to Hong Kong - you can literally do... More

Zoos in China are unlike anything in the States. At the Shenzhen Wild-life zoo you are able to get very close to many of the animals. The highlight of this zoo is it's tiger exhibit. For 50RMB you can ride in an enclosed truck through the tiger, lion, and liger enclosures. The staff give you pokers with chicken on the... More
