Don't take the time to go here. Yes, it's technically a beach but it is overcrowded and dirty. It is the first choice for many locals because it is the closest beach to the city proper. I'd say go to dapeng's beaches because they're slightly better, but not by much.

Funny beach because it is getting busy at night, because the locala do not want to catch sunburns ! Tens of thousands of people on the beach at night and few hundreds with the sunlight !

This place literally may have a million people on it during the summer. Bumper to bumper traffic with no parking, absolutely no space on the beach, toilet facilities that reek and couldn't be sanitized by a professional crew and noise that noise-canceling headphones would have trouble dealing with make this a place I will never go to again.

Yes, the beach is horribly crowded on the weekend (just surf for photos and you'll see wall-to-wall people), but going mid-week is like going to a different place altogether. We went on a Tuesday from 11 am - 3 pm and practically had the beach to ourselves, which is a totally different experience. And, of course, since there were so... More

Damiesha is for sure a nice Location but also too crowded, especially on Weekends. The beach is just full with People and sometimes you can't even get into the water without get in touch with another Person...(yes it's that crowded). And therefore you can imagine how the beach Looks and how clean evreything is... a bad experience...

very crowded and noisy like all other beaches in china. be ready for people taking pictures of you. But you can walk and find a nice quiet place. espcesially if you walk towards yantian port.

Surprised to find a beach like this in Shenzhen. Some areas crowded and dirty from tourist buses but mostly on the weekend. Good place to visit for the day. Xichong beach is even better

the only beach without ticket, that's why lots of people go there(crowded), and most of them leave trash everywhere.

Beautiful beach right next to Shenzen! Very nice place. To get there you can take direct J1 bus from Yitian Road (metro station: exibition and convention center) in Shenzen.
