Famous "Swiss mountain" theme park and resort in Shenzhen. Even if you are not into theme parks, this one is not to be missed. Visually stunning, OCT East has been called the “Universal Studios of China” and offers rides, golf, magic shows, luxury hotels, restaurants, spas, and—believe it or not—a scenic Swiss village. Nobody does theme parks like China! Plan to spend most of your day here (though you could spend a week). Noted in Time Magazine 29 November 2007 (opened 7 November 2007).

It's a nice area, you have there a 'Happy Valley' and a Waterpark, but up to the mountain there is the Main attraction "Interlaken" , a rebuild, of the Swiss town or a very bad copy :-) The prices are a way to high , as usual in China for 'Parks' like this. Because they lost a little bit the... More

I had opportunity to visit this park and tour the hotels. There are many themes in these parks and each hotel follows it masterly . I personally enjoyed them all, but prefer the Tea Park the most. You have everything here from thrill seeking rides, to quiet and peaceful theme parks including one religious theme park for Budha . It... More

OCT East has more than one theme parks. I would recommend visiting just one theme park in a day. The theme parks are Tea Stream Valley, Knight Valley, Huaxing Temple and Wind Valley. Since this place is far away from Shenzhen city, non-chinese visitors are encouraged to take a taxi to reach this place. Once we reach the destination, expect... More

We enjoyed ourselves in Knight Valley. It's no Disney World or Six Flags, but we had two day tickets and a deal for a nice room in the Aqua Hotel. And once we had those tickets we did just about everything for free. It was a lot of walking and some rides were total disappointments. Don't waste your time with... More

Unless you are going for the spa. It is too hard to get there, but a bus does run up from Da Mei Sha, and when you arrive, you have no clue as to what is where. We finally had to settle for one of the most expensive cups of coffee (we bought three) that I have ever bought the... More

A lot of rides were closed, the rides that were open didn't seem like a safest and the animals/birds are kept in the tiniest enclosures. Very sad indeed.

We took J1 bus ride from Futian area towards here early in the morning. OK, when arrive, we faced difficulty looking for Bus 909 to Tea Stream Valley. They should have placed better signage. At the counter, we purchased ¥160 ticket for Tea Stream Valley theme park. We were told it is impossible to walk to Tea Stream Valley because... More

It has a great view! Love the plants and flowers. It was very good when we visited it, it was not very crowded. Advise, wear comfy clothes, and shoes, and prepare to walk. Some of the areas are not yet open like the horse park. There was an entrance fee, which i think is quite expensive.
