Famous "Swiss mountain" theme park and resort in Shenzhen. Even if you are not into theme parks, this one is not to be missed. Visually stunning, OCT East has been called the “Universal Studios of China” and offers rides, golf, magic shows, luxury hotels, restaurants, spas, and—believe it or not—a scenic Swiss village. Nobody does theme parks like China! Plan to spend most of your day here (though you could spend a week).

Noted in Time Magazine 29 November 2007 (opened 7 November 2007).

It's a large park situated within the mountain area of Shenzhen. You need two days to fully explore if you are travelling with kids. Things I Liked: lots of different rides(train, cable car, lift etc.) which pleased my boys, local food is readily available at a good price, there's quite a lot to do at the park. Things I disliked:... More

Visited Tea Valley with friends during November. The park is unfinished (the Interlaken Spa buildings are left bare inside, and some gardens look 'still in construction') and many attractions like tea fields and the bridge closed from public access. Not worth the high ticket price or the long ride.

It is a lovely place, but on the expensive side. The more expensive way to enjoy this place is to stay in the park for one or two nights, so you can take your time to stroll around the lovely grounds. It is a huge park and I am not sure you should even try to cover its ground. The... More

This is a good place for the entire family . It has interesting things to see and do for the very young to the elderly citizens. In fact those who are 70 and above go in for free. Do plan sufficient time for your visit as it is an extremely big place . In Summer remember to bring bottles of... More
