Famous "Swiss mountain" theme park and resort in Shenzhen...

Famous "Swiss mountain" theme park and resort in Shenzhen. Even if you are not into theme parks, this one is not to be missed. Visually stunning, OCT East has been called the “Universal Studios of China” and offers rides, golf, magic shows, luxury hotels, restaurants, spas, and—believe it or not—a scenic Swiss village. Nobody does theme parks like China! Plan to spend most of your day here (though you could spend a week).

Noted in Time Magazine 29 November 2007 (opened 7 November 2007).

This is a good place for the entire family . It has interesting things to see and do for the very young to the elderly citizens. In fact those who are 70 and above go in for free. Do plan sufficient time for your visit as it is an extremely big place . In Summer remember to bring bottles of... More

Very wide area. There are many good outdoor views. You can take pictures and record videos for whole day. You can go to peak and watch. Many rides in this amusement park. Use red color taxi because it is registered. The foods are available.

Talk about being led up a garden path, you go from one mediocre attraction to another and then are left to make your own way back to the start point at your own expense. Some attractions have moderate appeal but the very long return journey leaves you feeling cheated.

Was a great trip and just couldn't get it off my mind since my first visit in 2011. It has since then run down a bit, or perhaps the kids have grown older. It just wasn't as good as before. Good to stay for a day or two but that's about it. Don't go in the hot Summer.

Spend your first day with Theme park and second day on the Tea Valley. You need the whole day to finish them. Tips : Talk to the guy in front the ticket counter, they can speak English with you and they gonna offer 40-50% off from the ticket. They are the agent and they won't cheating on you.

To me, nothing much here when compare to field of Lavender we have visited in other country. They have flower and man made colorful architecture.
