This road is clean and beautifully landscaped, with all sorts of tropical trees, flowers, and bushes. We spent the majority of our trip visiting sites on or just off of this road. There are so many beaches along the way, plus you can get to Zeng Cuo An Village and Gulangyu Island by catching one of many buses that frequent... More

I like it because visitors can sample a lot of dishes there but now the downside is there are too many selling barbecue foods, which make the place so 'smoky' and that causes some kind of pollution.

With a bright sunny day this area is great. Some good eateries and chilled out bars along the way. Is this the California of China? They even have the Baywatch lookout towers!

I havce ridden a bicycle from one end of the trail to the other. At a good speed I was able to get from one end to the other in about 1.5 hours. I passed several beautiful beaches where you can stop and swim or just listen to the waves and enjoy the atmosphere. For the active people seeking adventure... More

As this is along side the shoreline, it is a perfect place for some relaxation and you might like to rent a bicycle to ride along the shoreline. It is a great experience with the sea breeze and you do not have to walk. There is a run down amusement park which you can get back some memories of old... More

It is a comfortable road but it may be best to take the golf carts from the pier to save you some legwork. Although flat, it's quite a walk around the island.

Huandao Lu has something for pretty much everyone. Beautifully maintained stretches of grass for picnics, the beach, miles of cycle route (complete with interestingly designed bikes for hire i.e. ones which do not seem to fit a westerners body or many Chinese bodies either for that matter!) and miles of seaside walking to be had. Driving along here on a... More

I was on the city tour bus. excited to pass by all the nice scenic places. Will plan to stay in the area instead of every time staying in Siming district. Next time will stay in Zheng Cuo An. Will go to Musical Park my next visit!
