A walk through this University reminds you of old world buildings and architecture. The University is only open to the public at certain times of the day, so check before you go. Enjoy strolling the grounds and of course you are going to see lots of students!

A nice place to spend for couple of hours and good to visit it after visiting the temple next to it. Pay attention about the entry time. It is restricted to public.

I had some co-workers take me on a tour of Xiamen and it included visiting the Xiamen University. Because I am an American I did not find this tour as fascinating as probably some of the Chinese people did. It is a beautiful campus but I have seen beautiful campuses in USA.

I was fortunate to attend The University of Cape Town so believe I'm quite handily qualified when it comes to commenting on the aesthetics of University campuses. I tried hard but really couldn't warm to the place. It may be nice by Chinese standards but it wouldn't even register on a world stage. We visited during New Year and the... More

When visiting xiamen university there's plenty of buildings that you can take pictures of, the architecture of the buildings it's quite interesting. There's a big tunnel as well which is a must see, it's full of art made by the students.

Beautiful campus, nice and cheap food provided by the cafeteria, and great location. It also has a very good reputation and ranking among the universities in China.

Just an Uni, nothing so special about it. Took me more than 30 minutes to queue to gain access, it is huge but not worth the queue

As the weather was great we drives to visit the Xiamen University! A lot of people say that this campus is the nicest one in whole China, and I have to agree with it! The best way to discover the university is to enter from the main entrance (don't forget you password to get in) and you walk along different... More
