interesting and well presented, the ability to walk through the cave a bonus. Compared to other CONAF attractions (i.e. Fuerte Bulnes) this is well worth the entrance fee and the walk up to the viewpoint above the cave is recommended

The cave is cool, but most of the fossils have been take out and placed in other museums. We spent only 1/2 hour there and felt we were done. It was a good stop over to break up the 4 hour drive we had, but other than that it could be skipped.

It s just a great hole, If you stay in puerto Natales just for a day, it s better to go directly to the natural Park Torres del Paine, because one full day is still very short for this natural atraction.

Easy trail. If it is a sunny day, you will have wonderful landscapes, and a great opportunity to take nice pictures.

Don't limit you to the great cave. Bein to walk from visitor centor to the small cavern(don't drive as do some hotel's tours...leaving the motor in to keep the bus warm!!!) and then walk to the middle and then the great cave, with the detour b thye mirador... Views change, flora is terrific and you walk alone...

We read the reviews and were prepared to be disappointed, however, we found the experience educational and interesting. We learned about 20,000 years of history. The setting was lovely and you take a short walk back to a cave where a gigantic sloth was discovered. There is also a small museum. Several families were visiting while we were there and... More

Nice cave, good interpretation if you are bringing the kids on an educational tour ok, however it is a tad tired and vastly overpriced , a somewhat passe attraction. If value concious better not to bother with this side trip.

This is just a cave. Nothing fancy to see, nothing exciting. I was extremely disappointed. This was a mandatory stop off on our day tour.

I visited as part of my one-day tour to Torres del Paine. This stop was about 30-45 minutes. We only walked through the main cave, but there are additional walking treks that looked good if you want to put in more time. The cave is awe inspiring. I started imaging myself as a prehistoric human fighting the elements by camping... More
