Yes, I could touch the blue ice in the wind swept valley on the shores of Glacier Grey. The trek through the dense forest and the pebbles and sand was all worth that exhilarating once in a life time experience. A must see for all visitors to Patagonia.

It should really be Glacier Blue as the ice bergs that break away are the most beautiful blue colour and the size of a large house. You can either get a boat out from Lago del Grey to have a closer look, or you can just stroll along the beach to not only see the glacier, but also to get... More

this was really a beautiful last full hiking day on our w trek. I went all the way out to the point that faces the glacier. we didn't have time to take the trail out to the glacier. I think if I ever get to this part of the world again, I would spend a couple days at refugio grey.... More

From the south ice field this glacier get to the Grey Lake. You can visit by boat with an agency or from the ground doing some hours of trekking. AMAZING.

The sign said 'Glacier Grey 10 hours'. I hoped that meant 'return'. It didn't! I got as far as overlooking it on one of the most memorable days of my life.. sorry yes it was a long time ago (TA won't let you enter an earlier date).... had to turn around and get back to my possie, just made it..... You walk from a parking lot to an easy hike through a wooded area. Do be careful crossing the footbridge over a strong current river. Only six people are allowed to cross at one time. After a short hike, you will reach a large, flat terrain. A walk through this area will take you to Glacier Grey. When we were... More

Glacier Grey is truly spectacular. It's situated right next to Refugio Grey, which was our favorite refugio during the W trek. It's difficult to describe the glacier in words, but it's incredible. Definitely go see it if you can. I would do this over Perito Moreno any day.

This glacier is a short boat ride away and it is massive. You will see iceburgs floating in the lake and the glacier is incredible up close from the boat. The boat ride is a little pricey but worth it.

Beautiful views of the glaciers. Walk the beach and trails around. There is a boat that sails around the lake, however, this will depend on the weather conditions.

even after having seen Perito Moreno it makes it more complete when you see glacier grey. So make sure you see both of it
