Yoyo doesn't tell much, but the right stuff about the thing. Amazing!!! (I can type 200 charakters with Amazing, Amazing!!!) If you book a Course he tells you in 45 minutes what to do, then you'll get on the water. I surfed the 3rd or 4th wave with no experience. Arica is a great place to learn! There are no... More

It was the greatest experience to learn surfing with Yoyo! I found him online, too. On the first day I could stand up (even though I learned from Yoyo, that this is just one way of surfing ;) Yoyo is a great teacher (he knows the waters very well and takes time to give the students instructions) and the waves... Everyone is able to learn how to surf with YOYO, in his words it's all about the game of riding a wave. And we as never-surfed- before-surfers won the games and ride some nice beginner waves!! Thank you for the 2 mornings! Of course we would have stayed longer if we had the time!

Although we were very late, we were welcomed very well by Jaime, our surf instructor for the week. The three of us had an incredibly nice time with him, as he was more like a friend than just a teacher. He even showed us the city and told and taught us so much about surfing. The Ocean was very beautiful... More

We were a group of 4, all of us with little to no experience. With the teachings of Yoyo were all able to stand up and ride some great beginner waves. We are planning to go back in the future with our daughters.

After one day we could allready stand on the board for 30 seconds. now after five days of surfing we get the better waves and know when to peddle. This feels great. The waves in Arica are really good for beginners and yoyo the surfteacher is are really cool and gold guy! Thanks to him!!

Started with the 3 of us without any experience.. After the first day we could already say we were able to stand up and surf. Yoyo is a great helpful guy. Not only for surfing but he will try to make your stay in Arica as comfortable as possible.

My fiancée and I took a cab to 3857 Ginebra and we didn't find Yoyo or the Magic Chile International Surf school there today, otherwise we would have liked to surf with him. Looks like that part of the info needs to be updated on tripadvisor. Gave it a 3 since I wasn't sure what to give it without trying... More
