I had an amazing 4-hour ride very early in the morning to avoid the heat. It was a great way to see the countryside far away from other tourists. We went through small Cambodian villages, small rivers and alongside rice fields, working water buffalos, and also visited a temple. I was lucky to be the only person on the ride,... More

We did the four hour ride with just the two of us and a guide. The ride took us well out into the countryside, where we rode alongside rice fields, lakes full of beautiful blooming lotus plants, and through small villages where we could see the diversity of Cambodian country living. We are both fairly experienced riders, so our guide... More

They're bigger than expected and they like to take off. I'd never ridden a horse before but, thankfully I'm a mum that's used to being assertive. One of my sons got bucked but was okay (phew!). Great but keep in mind that you might not be insured for the injuries they inflict!

We took an early two hours ride. The ranch itself is beautiful and horses are very well looked after. After filling the paperwork and receiving our helmets we were shown our horses. Staff were friendly and nice, and horses seemed very calm. We enjoyed our walk through nearby villages, seeing cows and fields, did a bit of trotting as well.... More

The ranch sent for me at 5:30 in the morning. I began a 6 AM four hour ride. It is essential to begin that early because of the heat if you go on a long ride not only for yourself but your horse. I am a novice rider. these horses are definitely not the run-of-the-mill beginning lesson horses or old... More

I grew up with horses, so when I saw this activity in Siem Reap I knew I wanted to do it. The facilities at the ranch are very nice. Large, well taken care of stables with lots of horses who all appear to be in good condition. The ride itself was a lot of fun and the ranch hand who... More

We did a one hour ride at Happy Ranch. The horses are in good condition and seem very well cared for, although the horses used by the instructors on our trek spooked at things like dogs or children. Equipment is of a high standard. Staff are really friendly and nice. Our trek led us around a small farming village which... More

Well, I've been back and forth to Siem reap numerous times. Each time I make sure I visit the happy ranch. Horses are still happy and well looked after, the place is clean and well run, staff are still friendly and they know the area like the back of their hand so I go somewhere slightly different and always see... We did a two hours trail ride starting in the morning at 7. I recommend to start as early as possible, since it gets very hot and the landscape is more enjoyable and interesting in the morning. The ranch is very tidy and it's a beautiful areal. The ride itself was exciting, we walked in the fields and enjoyed many... More

After finding this on Trip Advisor, myself and my partner were keen to check it out. She is a much more experienced rider than I yet we both found it really enjoyable and they seemed able to match us up with horses that suited our experience. You get to see some beautiful scenery, ride among local houses/villages with beautiful local... More
