Absolutely one of my highlights of my SE Asia trip. The staff are amazing, kind, engaging, and helpful. Also, the love that the staff have for the horses made me happy to be in their hands. While on my ride (I booked a 3-hour ride) it started to storm really bad, which initially didn't stop us but we then had to... I did a one hour ride with a group with varying riding experiences and everyone loved it. It was my first time riding and our guide, kong, was great about helping me and making me feel comfortable. We got to see other parts of Cambodia outside of the tourist areas and our guide was very knowledgeable. I would recommend this... More

We had such a great time on our hour long trail ride! Our guides were knowledgable and were able to tell us a lot about the area. We felt safe the entire time, even though 2/3 of us had never ridden horses before. I requested to trot and canter, and the guides were very patient in teaching me how to... More

We opted for a sunrise ride and woke at 430am especially! We didn't see the sunrise but instead were privileged enough to see the local villagers start their days and were greeted with happy smiles and waves from tiny toddlers and school children! We rode to a temple and explored for around 20mins just enough time to get the feeling... More

It was the first time my friend and I have ever rode a horse, so we pretty nervous at the start. But thanks to kong and john, we enjoyed the ride thoroughly as they were very patient and taught us all of the basics , and chatted with us about their Cambodian lifestyles which was an eye opening experience. definitely... I really enjoyed my horse ride around the Cambodian country side! Its really well planned to make it safe and enjoyable for the horse and rider. Having ridden before but not for a while the pace of the ride was perfect for me starting off slowly and building up to a few canters as The ride went on. The horse... More

My 3 girls and I have virtually never been on a horse before. So it was a welcome relief to have the staff so friendly and helpful. They chose horses that were very calm and experienced and explained some of the dos and don'ts of riding. Our guide (Star) for the hour long ride was entertaining, passionate about his job... More

Iv visited the Happy Horse Ranch 3 times over 2 years and have never been disappointed. They took my request not to have a stubborn or slow horse this year and gave me Storm....wow that horse was fast! My guide (Kong) was really friendly and a capable rider. The fields you ride through offer a chance to see locals going... More

My guide took it slow with me since it was my first time. He was very good in every way. The riding was great. The scenery could have been a little bit better.

My friend and I went on a 3 hour countryside/temple ride during our time in Siem Reap. Our guide was Chey and he was so knowledgeable and proud of his country and culture. My friend and I had ridden a few times in Australia and we had so much fun cantering down little village streets and roads and seeing Cambodia... More
