We went to the Seeing Hands Massage in Phnom Penh and had such a wonderful experience, we were thrilled to see they had another location in Siem Reap. The three of us went there on 2 Jan 2008 based on the rave reviews here and in LP. Well, I must say this was not what we had expected. While we fully appreciate the situation and dfficulties of these blind people, I really think they need some more assistance and training on hygiene maintenance and professionalism. My husband & I just got back from Siem Reap, where we both got massages at Seeing Hands Massage. All of the people working at the place are blind - some were blind from birth, others blinded by landmines, illness, etc. This place helps them to be gainfully employed, when the only other alternative perhaps would be begging.
