My wife and I did several cooking classes whilst travelling south east Asia and this one stands above the rest. The setting was unbelievable, absolutely beautiful, and the chef and instructor were a delight. The class included an extremely rewarding trip to a local village home where the family was gifted rice for allowing us insight into their way of... More

My husband ( who in 25 years of marriage has never cooked a thing and barely makes tea) and I had a fantastic experience 9.30 to 12.30am at Champey Cooking Class (reservation@angkorw.com or 077 566 455). The class was only us with the chef. We do not eat meat or seafood so needed a customised approach. A menu was sent... More

I have done several coking classes in East Asia and this one takes the cake. The setting is gorgeous, the food so fresh and tasty, the staff extremely friendly and make it so easy to cook up a storm. Plus you get the most well presented recipe booklet. A must do. More

This is attached to a resort called Sojourn, which is also very nice. Its a great deal too. The class was perfect. The pavillion was set in a beautiful area. The chef and the lady who conducted the class were very professional and spoke fluent english. Everything from the stove to the dishes and the cutlery were super slick and... More

Love cooking. Love Cambodian food. Love helping people. Learned to cook delicious Cambodian food (amok fish, and the best green mango salad, with sugar-cane stuffed rice cakes for dessert) thought by the talented and friendly chef from the resort. Spent time with a local Cambodian family in the adjacent town. By doing so, contributed to the work their doing with... More

We did two trips with Beyond Unique Escapes, and our second booking with them was for a Cambodian Cooking Class. We did the morning program, where we cooked 3 dishes, guided by the chef from 'Sojourn Villas' (also owned by Beyond Unique Escapes). We were picked up from our hotel then taken in two Tuk-Tuks (there were 4 of us)... More

This was the best thing we did in Siem Reap. Our guide and instructional chef were fun and informative. Meeting a local family is really a highlight, a great insight into Cambodian life.It was great to learn about local produce and hear about traditions. Oh and the food was amazing!! More

Had a great time doing this cooking class. The course takes place at Sojourn which is about 10mins out of town in the village- a beautiful setting for a beautiful meal. I did an afternoon class making fresh spring rolls, a delicious Cambodian curry and dessert. The food was fantastic and we were given a recipe book to take home. More

This is one of the "must-do's" because the cooking school is smack in the middle of the farm areas. A guide takes you to a farm where you can see how the water is pumped. There is a bullock cart and we see a wood kitchen. The cooking class takes place around a modern facility located in the centre of... More

Simply fabulous! I am not kidding...my boyfriend and I went to this unique experience together today and while we were the only two in the afternoon class, it was just so romantic! First, we went to the unique experience office where we were picked up by a tuk tuk; then we arrived at the sojourn boutique hotel (very unique and... More
