My husband and I attended this cooking class yesterday and we loved every second of it. They arrange for a tuk tuk to pick you up and drop you off. He was on time. The ride to the Sojourn Hotel, where the class is located, is interesting in itself. It is literally in a little village allowing you to get... More

My husband and I took part in the morning cooking class and we both thoroughly enjoyed it. We were lucky to be the only people taking the class that day (usually maximum of 6 people). The chef and the class guide were both lovely people, answering all of our questions and had excellent knowledge of the ingredients. We visited a... More

I booked a morning session and enjoyed it so much that I ended up staying for the afternoon session as well. The food we cooked was excellent. I believe the young ladies name was Narong, she was in charge of the class and there was also a chef. She described all the ingredients quite well and gave other options on... More

Our intimate class of 6 people only were allocated cooking stations with gas burners and all ingredients laid out. Our hatted teacher instructed in good english and off we went! Much pounding and grinding and a bit of cutting and stirring. Not hard. I enjoyed watching my non-meat eating husband prepare, cook and eat red meat cooked in spices, threaded... More

Cambodian cuisine is not that spicy unlike those of their neighboring countries, but the flavors relies on the layers fresh spices and herbs. Attending the class in Sojourn Hotel is one of my Cambodia trip highlights. I was also greatly moved when we went to see a family in the community where they live a simple life with no electricity.

My husband and I had a great morning doing this class. It was really interesting visiting a local family to see how they live and their Garden. The set up of the class was fantastic, a little oasis in a busy city. At $22 it may have been a little more expensive than other cooking classes but well worth spending... More

I took morning cooking class, and everything was perfect. I totally enjoyed visiting local neighbor's kitchen. Please note that there are lot of chopping and grinding of vegetables. Be prepare to use your arm muscles.

What a fabulous way to spend a morning We absolutely loved this cooking course Could not fault it on any level. It was a great option other than templeing and great to get out of the city a little way. Picked up on time and taken to pay first (a meagre $22...bargain!) then to Sojourn Resort where the staff were... More

This was a really great experience and some of the best food I had in Cambodia. It was eye opening to visit the local family and see how they were cooking and supporting themselves. From there we went to our cooking class, which was very well run. Direction was clear and helpful and provided some background on the different ingredients... More

See other reviews for details! Basically it's a little oasis of calm and smiles! Great guide and cook, who explained all the ingredients and we made a DELICIOUS Khmer Amok. This morning is 22$ - REALLY worth it! (probably wouldn't do the full day as just wanted a little nap after eating all that food!)
