We too were 'templed out' and needed an extra activity to fill a day that was originally planned for more temples. This class was a great decision and was very personal, with only 3 of us taking part. The visit to a local home and learning about what they eat was very interesting as was learning about the different herbs... More

We did a morning and afternoon class and were very happy with the experience. The guides and chefs took their time going through the ingredients, encouraging us to taste and smell them individually before getting on with the cooking. This obviously is good for anyone interested in cooking with new ingredients, but was an especially welcome element for foodies like... More

We went to a half day class on a whim and did not regret it. You get transport from the hotel to the village, a visit to a local family, an introduction to the local herbs in the garden and along the paths, and of course the cooking. The location in a quiet garden is spectacular and beats similar classes... More

Went here with my 19 year old son after wondering what to do for a non temple day. We booked in the middle of town in the evening and then in the morning the tuk tuk ventured into very poor and rural places where we wondered what we were in for. Then in amongst very poor communities was this flash... More

We had a group of 7 middle school aged girls and 4 adults. Everyone had a great time! The cooking class setting was in a local village but not far from town. The recipes were easy to follow and the ingredients used were all local and fresh. Our cooking instructor spoke great English and was extremely organised. The best part... More

What a great experience! We took part in the morning cooking class. It was great to head into the more rural part of siem reap. We visiting a local family (the kids were adorable) and then we headed off to the cooking class. We made a 3 course meal and it was great that they actually made us prepare and... More

Dear Selly 29, Thank you for your review; we appreciate you sharing your experience with us! It almost sounds like it should have been a 5 spot review instead of 4, but we are very grateful nonetheless. Thank you and have a safe journey ahead! Kind Regards, The Beyond Team More

This is the third international cooking class my husband and I have done together and the real test is whether we can make the meals again at home. All dishes tasted great back home in Australia. I believe the best way to experience the local cuisine is to learn about the ingredients and make it yourself, learning from a local... More

We signed up for the half day afternoon cooking class, and had a fantastic time! The class started with a walk down the road to a families home in the local village. We got to see many of the ingredients we were about to use growing right there, and also we saw a peek into their home and kitchen. It... More

We visited with a mixed grip of adults and teens. Everyone enjoyed their time. The food was delicious the safety and cleanliness impeccable. The staff were just such lovely professional people. Patient, kind and caring like many kampucheans. Recommended in fact we have since ch to chosen to do more tours worth the same company.
