Really great experience. Went on a visit to a local family to find out about locals and how food is grown. Then on to the cooking.two really experienced cooks showed us three local dishes then we sat with the group (9) to eat our delicious cooking efforts. It was $24 per person but most definitely worth it and also includes... More

My parents and I visited Siem Reap and were keen to do a cooking course in addition to all the temple visits. I chose this course from Beyond Escapes because the outdoor setting appealed, and we were certainly not disappointed. I booked online the day before, and we were met at our hotel the next morning by a tuk-tuk driver... More

A cooking class was always going to be on the cards for us in siem reap, but with so many on offer choosing one wasn't easy! Beyond Unique Escapes didn't offer the cheapest course, but the glowing reviews made us think that it was probably worth the cost and we weren't disappointed! The class was everything we had expected and... More

An overall great experience! Me and my friend did the afternoon class. We started at 12:10 pm with a tuk tuk ride to a Hotel about 10-15 min away from the center of Siam Reap. We were received by very friendly staff and we did a 3 course meal that we were eating at about 2:30 pm... Everything was excellent... More

We did the morning cookery course and absolutely loved it. We were picked up on time and taken to the location of the cookery course which was about 15 mins out of the centre of Siem Reap. It was a beautiful setting and when we got there, there were another 2 people doing the course. We walked to a family... More

We booked for a Monday morning class in April (after the Sunday was fully booked) and ended up being the only ones! We were collected from our hotel by a friendly tuk tuk driver and taken to the class, which was in a beautiful garden location. Our teacher was fantastic - she took us to meet a local family before... More

This was a fantastic experience from beginning to end. We were skeptical of the higher pricing compared to other cooking courses in town but quickly realized that we had stumbled upon something truly special and uniquely Cambodian. The food was delicious, atmosphere lovely, people friendly and knowledgeable. We learned so much about the food and Cambodian people and had a... More

We had originally booked the morning class, but our hotel booked the wrong day. So we ended up doing the afternoon class & we were so pleased we did, the food we made was delicious and I can't wait to try this out on my friends and family when I return home, the staff are really lovely people and the... We took the morning class and learnt to cook a full set menu. Staff was professional and friendly. Food was delicious (not only because we made it!). It is situated 10 min away from the city, with the ride organized by the company. It allows to see the "suburbs" which is a nice ride.

It was worth every penny to spend time with local Cambodians, learn about Cambodian cooking, and eating DELICIOUS homemade food! This is a must-do if you are spending time in Siem Reap.
