We had noted this place on the way to our hotel from the airport, and thought it a good place to visit and learn more about the Cambodian culture. The village is quite a large complex (over 200,00 sq mts) with a lake in the middle around which a wide path from the entrance leads you through villages/buildings each representing... More

It was a great place to see the sort of history and culture of Cambodia. The shows were also pretty cool. I'm Cambodian myself so I could understand everything but unsure how foreigners would really get to enjoy it. The best bit was probably the last show of the night that finishes around 9 which showed the history of the... More

If you are planning to come here a adults, forget about it. But if you have children with you, chances are these are one of the few choices to bring them after the temple adventures. Place started out with a grand vision years ago but when we came back recently, sadly it is falling into disrepair.

We came here for an afternoon and it didn't really blow us away. It was okay but there wasn't any information to explain about the sights. Luckily we had our tuk tuk driver who did his best to explain to us. The shows we saw were really good but I'm not sure if our experience was worth $15. Worth a... More

On our last day in Siem Reap, we asked a tuktuk driver to just drive us around the city just to look around. He then asked if we would like to go to the Cultural Village which we have not heard of. We went and it was $15 per person. At first I thought it was too expensive, but then... More

I went to the Cultural Village in the hopes to see the rich culture and heritage of Cambodia. There was a wax museum of famous Khmer figures throughout history and miniatures of key Cambodian sites/ infrastructures. Good thing I had a tour guide with me who talked about the history of each miniature. These were located in an odd "park"... More

Visited with my family including my son who is mixed with American. When I purchased his ticket I purchased it for the price of being Cambodian which was $5 verses $10 for foreigners. We were told that my son would get the same privilege, however that's not the case when the very nasty women denied him entry for that price.... More

This is a slightly strange but charming 'theme park' offering a series of villages representing the different cultures within Cambodia and a troupe of dancers who circulate around the villages performing short shows typical of each area. It seemed very popular with Cambodian and Chinese tourists, I saw very few westerners. Well worth a visit.

Unless you have plenty of time on your hands I would give this place a miss. There are plenty more rewarding sights around Siem Reap than this. It doesn't live up to it's potential and is very artificial and is way over priced. On the plus side there is an opportunity to see their history display, wax museum and ethnic... More

Map brochure practically worthless. You can't tell where you are or what you're looking at - no explanations. Show seating (outside and hot) filled up over 30 minutes prior to show time. No fun waiting. Go to the national museum instead.
