I agree that it is a waste of time to visit the so-called Cultural Village that does not deliver. I was told it was developed by the Chinese from Mainland China. Large park with show sites that offer sub-standard performance. It may fool visitors from the Western world but if you are from the East, forget it. The performance is... More

I didn't find it to be as bad as other reviews suggest. Yes, it's a bit artificial but still an interesting opportunity to see cultural wax museum and ethnic shows. There are plenty of shows running from 11 to approx 3pm. I believe that to visit different performances and to get some additional cultural flavour the place may worth a... More

I had heard great things about the cultural village so decided to visit. The entrance price is moderate. You can hire a buggy to be driven around the complex(once) and you can have a happy snap taken at the same time. The shows are very entertaining but there is a lot of time spent waiting for the next show to... More

If you are interested in Cambodian culture , architecture and dances, this is the best place to go. We really enjoyed the dance shows and the beautiful re built wooden houses. We were very impressed by the variety of dances and performances! Only few tourist joined the program and we had good opportunity to get in contact with Cambodian visitors,... More

By far the biggest waste of money on our three month trip through Asia. At $15 USD per person (Angkor for the day is $20) you expect something impressive. I'm sure the sight might be appealing if you arrive AFTER 2:30. Before 2:30 it is a ghost town of empty buildings with nothing to do and nothing to learn. I... More

Weird!! Giant empty amusement park without the amusements. Cost more ($15) than the lonely planet guide suggested. Only one show on while we were there. Definitely not set up of foreigners. Looks like was set up for huge crowds, but we were nearly the only people there on Saturday morning. Terrible shame as it looks well built and quite pretty.... More

Visiteh this place on saturday.. After 2pm there are lots of shows one followed another at various venues.. shows narration in khmer language only, not foreigner friendly at all.. most shows are super boring and roughly prepared. The best show is chinese cultural show. The ethnic theme village cant get any ethnic related display nor information board, contain mainly wooden... More

A Cambodian friend bought me ticket from an agency, so the price is half cheaper (8 usd). However I still think that I was wasted of that amount of money. The village was built by a bank of China and there are some details in the architecture and performance are not from Cambodia. In the wax museum, even the name... More

This is a great place where we can learn about Cambodia history and culture. It is organized in small villages representing one part of the country/cultual influence. They have a daily show program to follow so you can also enjoy different performances. Plan to visit it in the afternoon when most part of the shows is scheduled.

I'm surprised that I had not visited Cambodian Cultural Village, in all of my prior 7 months in Siem Reap. I had heard or read some poor reviews, and based upon that, I was pleasantly surprised. Starting in the afternoon, there was a full on schedule of shows that you could attend, with 10 minute breaks in between, that would... More
