This was pricey for what it was, I thought. You go into a caged area where they keep butterflies. There is a seating area and at the back is a caterpillar nursery kind of thing. My friends seemed to like this more than I did but it seemed a bit harsh to keep the butterflies trapped. I did enjoy myself... More

The Banteay Srey Butterfly Centre is a fantastic butterfly habitat. With many species of indigenous species, they are both a butterfly farm and conservation center. I was impressed by the knowledge of the staff as they provided a guided tour of the Center and explained what they do. This is a small facility located about 45 minutes outside Siem Reap... More

If you are at the Banteay Srey temple, you should ask your tour guide to visit this nice garden, it is great to experience.

This was a cute stop off on our way out to one of the distant temple. Some most wonderful butterflies. We also took advatage of their seating area and ordered a cool coconut to sip with the butterflies zipping around. Worth calling in if you are out that way. alos money raised helps their conservation projects.

Small, but perfectly formed. Lovely butterfly and moth garden where you can see the eggs change to caterpillars and then to pupae before emerging as colorful butterflies. Very peaceful. My 5 year old loved it and found it fascinating.

It's not particularly big but its peaceful. There weren't many butterflies while I was out there, mind you it was in the afternoon. I think it would be better in the morning. The butterfly cafe (drinking something within the enclosure with the butterflies) was a nice touch.

A wonderful find. What a beautiful place to sit and enjoy a drink, surrounded by 15 different types of butterflies. The guides seem interested in their work, and it only costs 5 dollars/person to enter. Quite a small place but definetly worth a visit if you are in Siem Reap.

They propagate endangered and other butterflies, and you can take a 20-ish-minute tour led by someone with good English skills. Pretty flowers; pretty butterflies, and a large assortment of interesting cocoons.
