Very nice experience

Lots of nice butterflies. the staff is very helpful and good with kids. We had a simple lunch inside the centre, surrounded by butterflies.

This is a really beautiful place, and is a great change of pace from the temple tours. I had a really knowledgable guide around the small gardens, who let me hold a brand new butterfly, with newly dried-out wings. This was a really special moment for me. He taught me about the life cycle of butterflies and then I was... More

You might need a break from temples. So, on your way to the Cambodian Landmine Museum (essential), stop off and see the butterflies and other beautiful creatures here. The staff is cheerful, speaks English well and will show you around at whatever speed and level of information you desire. The walking sticks (huge insects that look like twigs) are a... More

The Butterfly Centre is a perfect spot to pause and relax on the way to or from Banteay Srey temple, or Kbal Spaen further out. It is also very close to the Landmine Museum. The place is mainly a beautiful garden planted to always have something in bloom to suit the variety of butterflies wandering about. There's also a kind... More

Visited this great little place during our 3 day visit to Siem Reap, and we weren't disappointed. It's quite a tiny little place, but well worth the $4 entrance fee, which included a personal guide to give you a tour. The guide was very knowledgeable about butterflies, and is clearly a young man with a passion. Watching beautiful butterflies actually... More

The farm is about a 40 minute tuk tuk ride from Siem Reap but is well worth the effort. Entry is a modest 4 dollars and for that you get a guided tour explaining the life cycle of the butterfly and the work they are doing at the centre. Our guide was very helpful and happy to answer any questions... More

Great to see so many butterflies with such ease and the different life phases. Stick insects also interesting. Price $4 each. Only a short tour to a small site.

SO much enjoyed my visit here. Also found the informative guide to be an excellent standard and liked that you could roam at your leisure after the short 15 min tour. Got some great shots of butterflies without any time constraints. It's about 20 kms from Siem Reap, but the journey is just as good as the destination as I... More

I'd previously visited a butterfly center in Penang and it had an amazingly diverse population, but the posterboard descriptions were lifeless. Here, there are no posterboards, but a truly bright and inquisitive guide who will try to answer your every question as he shows you around! I hadn't planned on coming here....it was just on the way to a temple... More
