Osmose is a tour which helps the local people in their everyday life support. So you know that the money you pay for the tour (100 USD PP if you are 4) will be well spent. They come and pick you up from your hotel and bring you to the mouth of the Tonle Sap lake. On the boat you'll... More

A superb tour with a sense of responsibility, supporting local people and helping to protect the local environment and wildlife. We had a lot of fun, and our guides were excellent, well-informed and enthusiastic. The tour is really well planned and despite the hype from so many great reviews, it surpassed our expectations.

I have never seen fish eagles before let alone be twenty yards away from one! What a great day we had. It was a mix of bird watching and seeing how floating villages live and work. The boat trips were treks in their own right - going down incredibly narrow channels to reach the bird hides and floating villages. One... More

We booked this tour in advance and knew we may end up paying $150 each if no-one else joined. Luckily on the day there were 6 of us and we ended up paying $80 each. However we had such a great day I would have happily paid full price. We aren't serious bird watchers but nevertheless we had a very... More

After three days of visiting the temples we wanted a change of scenery and Osmose provided that but also so much more. Our guide explained us a lot aobut the unique eco-system of the lake, we got to see how the local communities live on the lake and did some bird watching from a tree house platfrom - great views... It was a good experience to take the river cruise on Tole Sap Lake to see the floating village, its school and life on the river. What we disliked was the pestering message service offered by the 2 boys on the boat.

We enjoyed a brilliant day out with Osmose during our brief stay at Siem Reap. We had a little difficulty with communication by email prior to the trip but got our day sorted out finally when we arrived in Siem Reap. Our guide was very friendly in a very natural way and treated us really well. He was also incredibly... More

Compared to other tours that my group and I experienced in Cambodia, this was the most expensive. However, it was also a highly memorable day, and considering that (as I understand) a lot of the cost ($100 per person) goes directly to the villagers, I think its well worth the expensive. Early pick up from the hotel, and then on... More

Amazing experience! One of the best trips we've done! We saw floating villages, went on the top of the tree platform and observed the rare birds and then were smelling local herbs in a floating garden. Oh, ya, and food served for lunch was absolutely amazing! These guys are working for a great cause! The experience TOTALLY worth the price!

Went on a 1-day tour of the floating village and bird sanctuary. The guide was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. It was a real eye-opener and my family enjoyed it. Just a note of warning: the travelling time in between places can be long (1.5 hours via land and lake). I was prone to motion-sickness and the long lake travel made... More
