I went on the osmose say tour and I was completely blown away! They talk to you about their environment and all the intricate parts from the fish to the birds to the plants! And the floating village we explored was absolutely breathtaking. Osmose is doing a really amazing thing for the people of the village by helping their economy... More

My 19yr nephew and I have some memorable experiences during our Siem Reap visit and we both agree this is a definite highlight! We signed up for Itinerary #3. Firstly Osmose is a wonderful NGO who's 70% of its proceeds go directly to the village. They have worked years developing community sustainability initiatives for the Prek Toal village. Secondly our... More

Please, if you want to visit Tonle Sap, go with Osmose. Only then you get an idea of floating village life and get to visit the Prek Toal bird sanctuary. Do not fall for quick and dirty tours operated by others. They cannot provide for what you see with Osmose!

We were met at 6 AM at the hotel lobby by a young and enthusiastic guide who took us by car to the Tonle Sap lake where we boarded a launch. We changed later into a smaller boat whch took along the smaller tributaries. Since it was winter, the number of birds in the lake was more. We saw many... More

We had the chance to discover the Tonle Sap lake, the floatting village of Prek Toal and the birds' sanctuary thanks to Osmose organization. We spent few days on the lake, and were fascinated by the life on the lake, the people were very kind and warmful, the food excellent. We kept such a great souvenir of the craftwomen of... More

I would definitely recommend doing an overnight tour with Osmose to the floating village, followed by a trip to Prek Toal bird sanctuary the next day. They are an excellent, responsible ecotourism company who are involved in various initiatives to help the local community, while also providing excellent and knowledgeable bird-watching tours. We visited in the drier part of the... More

It is one thing to read that the ecosystem of submerged forests of the Tonle Sap is unique and it is another to see it. Osmose tour and in particular the trip by canoe between the trunk emerging from water it comprises makes it possible realizing how exceptional this place. Not only because of the forest but also because of... More

After days of viewing the temples of Angkor, we were in much need of a truly unique "Cambodian" experience. This tour gave us that. We traveled by boat through floating villages that were absolutely unreal. It felt like I was watching a documentary, but to see these amazing villages in person and get to support locals through Osmose was the... More

Thank you, Osmose, for a wonderful day out. My experience of boats in Asia in general has not been a good one, with old overcrowded boats, so I was a bit nervous booking this trip! However the boats used were in good condition and were not overloaded. We went in a group 9 people, which lowered the price per person... More

I can't recommend this trip enough as for me it was the highlight of my stay in Cambodia. The floating villages are a sight to see - such a unique community living in such a unique way. It is very clean, and the variety of boats used throughout the day to get to and from the village, to and from... More
