I took my 8, 10 and 13 year old to take the clay class while my husband enjoyed a much needed visit to the spa in our hotel. It was a perfect outing for us as we all were able to learn how to use the potter wheel and mold some bowls and vases! The staff was really great as... More

I only went to the small shop nestled in one of the alleys of Pub Street area, and I wished I could have had much more space in my backpack, there are many pieces of pottery, scarves, nicely lacquered wooden statues and more. Prices are reasonable, especially for big items. Would return and buy with bigger bag.

My 7-year old daughter was so excited to try real pottery. She had the 1.5-hour lesson with 3 clay balls to make the designs with. The instructor was patient with her as this was her first time. When she finished, she 2 chose to keep - a pot and a vase. Our timing was just perfect because she did the... More

On visiting Khmer Ceramics I came across a carved sandstone bas relief based on a design at the Bayon temple. It was sculpted by a local artist at the Centre and took 9 weeks to make. The level of detail was amazing on a piece which measures 1000x 400 x40mm andIi was able to secure it at a very good... More

We toured the Khmer Ceramics Centre and enjoyed looking at the lovely pieces and decided to purchase a Khmer Shader Lamp and pay for shipping back to Australia, $400 US in total. Unfortunately after the lamp arrived only two of the three boxes arrived and the lamp was smashed into hundreds of pieces. On contacting Khmer Ceramics they took over... More

I would rate this place highly as place to go for a family activity but the quality of the classes is a bit of a hit and miss for us. Each of us was guided by an instructor who could not speak English very well. While the rest of the family was guided by patient instructors, unfortunately for me, my... More

Had very high expectations before entering and starting a class and was totally worth it. Regular Pottery Classes have 2 options: 1.5hrs, 3 clays, Keep only 1 or 2.5hrs, 9 clays and keep 3. $5 extra for each pottery made that you would like to keep. You start right away as we did not see anyone else taking a class... More

Took the family and although we all enjoyed the experience of making ceramics, we were very disappointed when they delivered only three of our creations. After calling to complain, they then delivered a different piece from the shop, as they said they broke mine. Poor substitute.

My family loves crafts and was looking forward to the ceramics center. We came away satisfied but not inspired. To the positive, you get started on the potters wheel right away without much preamble or fuss. However, we found our instructors taught more by moving our hands around than actually teaching us much about what we were doing. Plus there... More

Had a chance to do our own ceramics, and it's fun!:) Guides are also there to help you along with the ceramic making...but boy - i didn't know it needed quite a bit of effort on our arms and legs!;) Fun. Free pick up service and also quick delivery - the very next day!
