Got to see a lot of animals including a leopard and lions and plenty buffalo elephants and sable. However, it is a National Park and therefore lots of not so well behaved tourists floating around. This park has a lot of sand and you need to deflate your tyres for very sandy bits. If you don't you can cause a... More

We really enjoyed our 3 days of Safari drives to various parts of the Park. We will never forget the elephant herd swimming across the river, nor the up-close viewing of hippos, cape buffalo, giraffe, etc.

In April of this year, my husband and I visited Chobe National Park. The day was an absolutely beautiful day and the memories will last forever. Anyone visiting Botswana should definitely make Chobe a place to visit.

The number of wild animals and birds that were seen fell short of expectation-the cats were conspiciously absent, sufficient number of elephants but certainly not the numbers are are often talked about.

Chobe is huge,be sure spend enough time on the water as well as on land. The only place we ever run into Leopards in all of our Africa travels. The sunsets on the river are also a must, be sure to charter your private boat for an up close and personal experience. It was a truly amazing experience

The park area has an abundance of wildlife but unfortunately our guide was pretty slack and we really didnt see anything much. Other people in the park the same day saw loads including a lion. Just luck of the draw I guess. If you dont see what you want on the 1st game drive, do another as people saw lions... More

Although spending some time in Victoria Falls, our safari really began when we arrived at Chobe. Our guide, Alvin, certainly knew his stuff, taking us to the best vantage points to get the best photos. We camped overnight and were greeted with a magic sunrise. We glimpsed many elephant, various antelope, hippos, baboons, cape buffalo and lions. A great introduction... More

We love the beautiful Zambezi. The wildlife was plentiful and very accessible. You need a 4x4 to visit the park. We did not see too many visitors during our stay but 1,000's of animals, and amazing sunsets over the water. We stayed for 3 nights in the park.

This place is great. The game is quite unrivaled for a national park with a wide diversity of flora and fauna. The amazing number of elephants is a wonder to behold and there is a great chance to see a wide range of wildlife. It doesn't have the massive concentrations of game of the Ngorongoro Crater but you certainly won't... More

So much wildlife! It was very cold in the morning before the sunrise, but that in itself was breathtaking. We saw all animals except for the big cats (though we saw paw prints) and rhinos. But they came very very close to us in the jeep (we had to stop a couple of times so the elephants wouldn't get mad!)... More
