It's another place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city, however, there isn't much to do. Locals go there to have a ride on the boat, some have a picnic in the more secluded parts of this artificial and quite contaminated lake. There are also restaurants that serve delicious trucha (trout) for the lunch.

Lake provided a welcome break from the rather increasingly crowded city -- traffic meant a good 90 minute trip back into town. I come from Minnesota so seeing a lake is not a big deal. It was fun to see the dam and the lake. You can go out on paddle boats or take a tour of the lake in a motorized boat. They also had a jet ski you could rent. The water is brown from the mud in the hills.

There is much to see and do at Laguna Angostura. It's a nice place for a relaxing day. They have a good menu of fish. Very fresh and delicious. Also there is a zip line, hiking trails and lots of places to just relax and spend the day out of the city. Plan on spending a while when you go.
