This place is really great! Placed in the more wealthy part of Cochabamba it has a beautifull setting. The house is amazing and all the stuff original since the house was never used. The guide spoke very fine english, and she answered our questions perfectly. A must-see in Cochabamba. More

I lived in Cochabamba for a few years, and I would always take visitors to the Palacio Portales. It's such a gem right in the city and is so well taken care of, which can be rare in Bolivia. Do take the tour, offered in English and Spanish and keep an eye out for concerts and events at the Palacio... More

Palacio Portales was a great surprise on my visit to Cochabamba. The story about a very poor kid who became one of the worlds richest man and help to improve the life of its people is captivating. The guided tour was top notch, with the guide didn't sounding like a recorder. More
