Only ate and did water park but great fun!

Took to grandkids to park, had lunch which was just ok, would not recommend, then to water park, which I would recommend. Two pools and small kid water area. Numerous water slides... read more

Our family reunion this summer consisted of about 60 people (siblings + spouses + children + more spouses + grandchildren) from 7 states. With their giant cabins and lodge, we were able to enjoy each others company at meal times and activity times, but we were also able to retreat from the noise when needed. It was like being at... Took to grandkids to park, had lunch which was just ok, would not recommend, then to water park, which I would recommend. Two pools and small kid water area. Numerous water slides which anyone over 36" can and do use, so not crazy nor dangerous. One pool has a slide and diving board. The other pool is a wave pool... More

Wow, what a gem of a state park! We had no idea there was SO much to do here. Allow an extra day here just to do the water park--we wish we had done so! We camped and the sites were clean and spacious. There are great trails, fishing, paddle boats...we could have easily spent another day or two here!... More

Stayed in the Lodge in the couple days leading up to the 4th of July for a quick family getaway. First, the Lodge is beautiful and we really enjoyed our rooms with the beds in the loft and great view of the river. It makes the experience better than your run-of-the-mill hotel. However, the Wi-Fi was non-existent in our room.... More

This was our second, three day visit to Mahoney State Park. We took two of our teenaged grandsons, because of the variety of activities offered, as well as the beautiful acreage to explore. We stayed in loft rooms each time, both overlooking the back of the lodge and the Missouri river in the distance. From our balcony, we were able... More

Walking trails, paddle boats, horseback riding, and the observation tower are big plusses for this park. They also have a fabulous pool/water park with zero entry pool and kiddie area. Great summer fun. In the winter there is the toboggan run and ice skating. They recently changed the food service company in their restaurant and there is not many other restaurants... More

We stayed in the Lodge and had a loft room overlooking the park. The room was very clean and roomy. We signed up for the Trail Ride in the morning. Despite the rain, the trail ride was still a go. We were told that if they saw lightening, the ride would be cancelled for safety reason. No lightening, but a... More

The Eugene Mahoney State Park is a great place to visit for singles and family. The park has oodles of things for people to do (water park, horseback riding, paddle boats, fishing, crafts, miniature golf, disc golf, theater). You can stay at the lodge or find a campsite for your mobile home or to pitch a tent. Minutes away, you'll... More
