Growing up here as a kid we used to fish and play at the lake all the time. NOW it's all been bought up and they are hardly any area's that are open to the public which is disappointing. But what can you do. It is a pretty area though. Just disappointing because I knew how it was.

Take the drive around the perimeter - you'll see moose and beautiful lake/mountain scenary.

We went to Georgetown Lake bc my bfs family has a house on it and we loved it there!! The snow was beautiful and we got to ice fish on Georgetown Lake!! It was so much fun I got to drill my own hole with the ogger!! We got tons of rainbow trout and cleaned them ourselves! The next day...

The ride to get there...wonderful! The lake itself was and is very busy during summer as any lake, but it gives you the sense you can escape just by getting out of the car practically anywhere. Make sure you stop at all the little outlets they post along the way. We got out and the water was so clear you...
