Wonderful day of fishing, boating, sightseeing along the lake. Rented a nice boat, well priced at the marina on the north end of the lake.

What else can I say except take a drive around lake explore the area. Stop at the restaurant general store. Continue on and check out Phillipsburg.

Beautiful lake. It's a beautiful drive around lake. There are picnic spots. There are camping spots if you are staying. We saw moose early in day and a number of Eagles. The grandkids loved catching frogs and wading in water. If you have a boat the lake is good for skiing or fishing.

Georgetown Lake is a marvel. You can swim, camp, hike, ski, fish and enjoy so much fun out of doors. It is nature at its best and visually stunning each and every month of the year.

If it weren't for the fact that we can't stand snow, we would definitely consider this area to move permanently as the beauty of the area captured our hearts in the 2 short days we spent here. The lake was perfect for our little 14.5 footer and the trout are absolutely gorgeous and healthy. Stop by this lake and wet... More

Whenever we visit Montana, we usually travel by Georgetown Lake, going to Phillipsburg. It is a beautiful area. In May 2014, when we came through the area, the lake was frozen over. Absolutely beautiful!

Georgetown lake is scenic...lots of eagles & hungry trout. Phillipsburg is a shortdrive away for anything needed in town. Piney campground was very comfy & the host was doing a great job...boat launch @ campground made it easy to get on the water.

We stayed at the Piney Campground with a slot right on the lake, it was absolutley gorgeous! We only stayed for one night but wished we could have stayed longer! The campground hosts were so sweet and very attentive if you need them, but not intrusive at all. Hope to come back someday!

Just beautiful any time of year, recreation sports and just sightseeing, one of the best places. Of course, I live nearby.

Georgetown Lake is a very lovely place whether you like lakes or mountains. I stated at the Seven Gables. The room was nice, but internet iffy. Didn't eat in the bar/cafe. Went to Philipsburg; great drive and fun town.
