They have good wine and a really good price. I love coming here when it is warm outside and you can sit at the tables and enjoy a bottle. Unfortunately there is nowhere to sit when it is cold.

Thanks so much for the review! Just wanted to let you know we now have indoor seating for the winter months. We usually open it up mid-November on a regular basis through the cold winter weather. The Owl's Nest building is just across the street from the tasting room on Jackson. It seats up to 40 people on a chilly... More

Made a recent stop here over a lovely weekend. Crowds were low, but it was still fairly early. Wine tasting was free and pretty much everything we tasted we enjoyed; especially their seasonal hot apple pie. Would definitely stop back by here again.

This was our second stop and we had a great experience. Same wine that's sold up the hill for $66 was less than $20 here. Our hostess was great and very knowledgeable. They also have a huge outdoor sitting area up the hill with live music but it was very crowded and we still had other wineries to assault.

Augusta is not only one of the best wineries in Missouri, but in the world. Boasting the delicious and rare Norton in its finest form, you won't find a bad wine among their collection. A friendly and knowledgeable staff will guide your tasting in their relaxing atmosphere, which is complemented by the quiet little city and the beautiful countryside. The... More

We like the general friendliness of the people who greet and provide the wine tasting. The tasting room is small and quaint with a stand up bar. Five tastings are FREE unlike so many others. You can purchase and enjoy a bottle of chilled wine at their attached outside patio that is surrounded by grape vines or travel up the... More

Routinely enjoy this winery and their product. Drove from 7 hours away to try this year's vintage of the Norton and was snubbed from even doing a tasting. Thought we timed our travels well and arrived 30 minutes before posted closing business hours and was turned away. I do not like to buy wine before tasting the product. If management... More

Thank you for your feedback. I apologize you were not met with our usual friendly smiles and open door upon your visit. As a policy (similar to other businesses in the alcoholic beverage sale industry enforcing 'last call') we are required to cease pouring full samples at our tasting bar 30 minutes prior to closing and cannot sell cold or... We live about 45 minutes from Augusta and visit at least once a month. We try not to stop into the Augusta Winery tasting room on every visit because we usully walk out with a mixed case of wine. Yes, their wine are that good! My wife is a big fan of their dry Vignoles. I go for the Chamborcin... More

We rode the Katy Trail and stopped at this winery on a corner in town, up the hill a ways from the bike trail. The staff who did the pourings were very nice and knowledgeable, helping us pick two bottles (one for there, one for home on our bike). The wine we purchased for there was from a reserve collection... More

We stopped by on August 3rd. for some FREE sampling. We ended up purchasing a bottle to go with the food we brought with us. Yes, they allow you to bring your own picnic basket....refreshing! You can sit under the covered patio or walk up the hill (50 yards) and sit at their outside patio. They has some good live... More

My wife and I stopped by to do some wine tasting while staying at a local B&B. Such a great and affordable selection. The employees were very knowledgeable and actually helped us pick out a really great dessert wine. Didn't get to enjoy the wine garden but it was great to listen to the music as we came in and...
