The grounds of the Minnesota Zoo are beautiful and well-kept. Most of the animal habitats are very well-done for the animals. The grizzly bear habitat is especially nice and the bears were very active and seemingly happy the day we were there. They put on quite a show! However, the habitats for a few of the animals (perhaps the not-so-popular... More

Safe for young children to play hard. Educational. The Minnesota Trail was a high point: Coyote, Bald Eagle and Gray Wolf. Expensive. Buy a Season Pass if you will go more than once. too much to see in a single day. Plenty of indoor activities if the weather isn't cooperating.

With the dolphins gone the monk seals have big shoes to fill. It was like a child stepping into their fathers size 13 shoe. After waiting for 15 minutes because the hype of this great new attraction was so high, we got to see a 14 minute show of a woman talking, a video and 2 out of the zoos... More

My kids love going to the zoo. So many things to do it is a great place for a membership. The new nature play area is amazing! Love the farm too.

Pro: The zoo uses their space very well. We watched the penguin feeding and the zookeepers were amazing with sharing information. Con: The animals are in their habitats as much as possible which is hard to see the animals but it is better for the animals.

The venue (outdoor amphitheater) is a wonderful location for an intimate concert experience. The acoustics are great, just remember to bring your bug spray as it is located right on a lake. Beer, food, and merch is offered at most concerts. The tickets are always a bit pricier, but there really isn't a bad seat in the house.

Expectation is the mother of disappointment, and going in with the proper expectation is the key here. I expected small, none of the big animals (because I read the reviews) and a lot of walking. First impression: the buildings look like something from the Eastern Bloc in the 60s. They aren't super inviting. So we ignored those and went directly... More

We go to a lot of zoos and this is a nice zoo for kids. Lots of little tunnels to crawl through and little details that the kids loved. You are able to bring in food so that is nice. Disappointed that there wasn't a train to ride for my little guy. The butterfly garden was probably my favorite! The... More

We visited this zoo on a family trip and it was very cool! they have a lot of sea life, such as Octopus and seals! In the sea life exhibits they have a touch tank were you can touch stingrays and some smaller sharks! The zoo itself covers a ton of land and they make the habitats look SO real!... More
