We stopped in to check out the winery on a Saturday afternoon. We did some tasting and went on the tour. The service was awesome, very knowledgable and very entertaining! the tour was very interesting and of course, the wine was fantastic. They even had live music on a little patio starting at 2:30 in the afternoon to have a... More

My friends and I were passing through on our way to the cabin and decided to stop in for some wine samples. It was a great deal getting to sample 5 wines for $7 & we even get to keep the glass! A lot of variety of wines to sample. From dry to sweet to ports, it was all delicious.... More

We were staying in the area for a wedding that was taking place in the early evening. Carlos Creek Winery was near our hotel. Spent the day sampling DELICIOUS wines, taking a very informative tour, learning about how to drink wine and how it is made, enjoying some locally made meats and cheese and listening to live outdoor music! Planning... More

I have visited this winery three years in a row during my annual girls weekend. You pay $7 to try 5 wines and then get to keep the glass. Wines have been different each time I've visited. I prefer dry wines & my friend prefers sweet wines and there plenty of each to try. Prices are very reasonable for a... More

Hello, Thank you for your great review of our winery. We agree! My husband and I often sit on the patio, listening to one of our bands, sipping on some Vintner's Blend and remark that if we didn't own the winery, it would still be our favorite place to hang out! We are so blessed to have a job that... More

Had my first tour experience here this summer, and I love the grounds, the staff, and their wine selection. The tour is free and it's $7 for samples which is a great deal. The grape stomp in September is also a lot of fun, and the shops in the barn area are neat to browse through in the summer. Their... More

My husband and I were the only two on the tour. It lasted less than a half hour, but the guide was knowledgeable and fun. We've toured Napa and France, but still learned something new. The tasting is an excellent value for $7. Even though there was a wedding going on, we were able to walk the property and enjoy... More

The grounds are pretty with nice indoor and outdoor seating areas. The wine tasting area is also very nice with plenty of room. The tastings are $7 for 5 generous pours to taste. The wine is a bit expensive for Minnesota wines coming in around $16+/bottle but more and more are coming in at that price point these days. Having... More

This is a sweet wine winery and is more about the experience of hanging out in a beautiful area and having some summer wine than digging into the nuances of Minnesota wine. I don't say that in a bad way - just know what to expect and then enjoy yourself. You get a roadmap of their wines (about 15 if... More

Ok, the wine is overpriced as you can get a better bottle for $16-$20. But for a rainy afternoon in Alexandria...there is not much to do so for $7 you get a nice wine glass and 5 'tastings'. We were here with the HOG group so it was very busy. I wish they would offer some crackers of some sort... More
