What a great time we had at the grape stomp this year. We attended all three days. Friday it was cold . Just wore a warm winter coat. Some of the advantages were the crowds weren't as big so was able to look at all the vendors, watch the grape stomp heats , listen to all the music and watch... More

We were at the Grape Stomp today... great festival..very crowded, the food is spendy, but where isn't it spendy... lots of good music... loved the Schells Beer tent, but they need more servers. No beer drinker i know wants to stand in line for 15 minutes to get a beer....Also , in the wine tasting, there were not enough serving... More

My husband and I drove here for the afternoon on our way home from Lake Carlos State Park. We both had a panini from the cafe and did a wine tasting afterwards. The food was delicious, and for me, was more than enough to fill me up. I had the Mediterranean panini and my husband had a chicken one. The... More

Wonderful place to relax and enjoy different types of wine. Then, pick out what you like and buy a few bottles.

I go to the Grape Stomp/Harvest Festival annually and have a wonderful time. I have also volunteered to help during the harvest. It's a wonderful opportunity to learn about a variety of grapes and the process/art and craft of wine making. This is a beautiful getaway that whisks you away to wineries far off. I especially enjoy the fruit wines,... More

I don't know where to begin. We first visited the winery about a year ago, when visiting to see if we would like to book out wedding there. Michelle, who coordinates weddings was wonderful. We booked with them, and have been impressed since. My bachelorette party visited for a wine tasting and food in the tasting room in June. Te... More

Thank you so much for your kind words. I'm so glad your experiences with Carlos Creek have been so positive - except for the tour. You have my sincere apologies for that. Likely, the tour at 1:00 was full (we can only fit 40 in our production space) but it sounds like we failed to make that clear or offer... More

We are visiting from Michigan and this winery was recommended. Always up for a nice glass of wine so we decided to pay a visit. What a nice place! The staff was very friendly and explained the wines during our sampling quite well. We took the tour and, again, the staff was friendly and knowledgeable on the process and the... More

We were with a group and did both the tour and tasting. It is a beautiful setting. The tour was very informative and there is a great selection of wine for the tasting. It is a stop not to be missed when visiting Alexandria.

We arrived here Just in time for the winery tour ( unplanned but well worth it) I have been to a couple other MN winery tours but the best part of this was being able to go into the cellar and see the wine ageing in oak.. I thought it was very interesting that most of the barrels come from... More

I'm so glad you enjoyed the tour! Our barrel cave is a favorite with our tour guests, and also a favorite spot for wedding photos. We've even used it as a tornado shelter once - a happy spot to wait out a storm! Our Peach Street has been extremely popular this year since it won the Chairman's Award - Best... More
