So sad that a community the size of Ann Arbor was inadequate to keep this gem going. From their glzszoo.org website- "Our last day open to the public is Sunday, Feb 15 With heavy hearts, we are permanently closing our doors after February 15. The zoo is not financially viable, and the volunteers who form the Board of Directors have... More

Great for kids. They offer private parties for children. Amazing display of reptiles large and small.

I went with my grandson to the indoor zoo and we loved it. He had been there before so he could tell me about the animals. The snakes, lizards, turtles, spiders, etc. are set in their natural habitat setting. The way they have them displayed in the aquariums or glassed cages is neat. There are a few cages that need... This is a small place but it's packed with excitement. We had three boys and 2 girls and everyone loved it. What I liked best is the animals actually move - unlike other exhibitions my family has visited. The staff was very friendly also. Great place!!

Very few people I talk with in Ann Arbor and the surrounding area know anything about this little zoo on Jackson Road in Ann Arbor. It is small (three large rooms), so if you're driving from far you may want to think twice. I would probably wedge it with with errands in Ann Arbor. But they pack a lot into... More

It was nice to be able to go to an indoor animal sanctuary in the winter. However, there wasn't as big of a variety of insects, birds, reptiles, and amphibians as we were hoping to see. It was not worth the 1 hour drive that we took to get there. However, if I lived closer I would probably go again.... More

My girlfriend and I were looking for something to do in Ann Arbor for a few hours and I stumbled across this place on TripAdvisor. We both really love animals of all kinds, but especially reptiles and amphibians, and other non-fuzzy critters. The staff here is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, and the care being taken for these animals (most of... More
