We have been going to the Ark since it was just a coffee house on Hill street. It has always been a friendly and comfortable place to listen to great music. Still brings in wonderful talent, from stars to unknowns to locals. More

The Ark is such a great place to see a show, seats 400 but feels smaller. More

Small, intimate with generally good seating for all. The biggest pain (as with the Michigan theater) is having to buy a "membership" in order to get drinks etc. The location is great downtown with good choices nearby for after concert meals or drinks. If you can get a parking spot in the small lot behind of William Street, I recommend... More

A very intimate place to see a concert. We saw Delbert McClinton and we were less than twenty feet from the stage. Prices are extremely reasonable and if you hang around after the show you may get to see the celebrity act for autographs. My g.f. got an autograph and a hug from a gracious Delbert McClinton. I got to... More

Been to the Ark many times. (saw Rory block twice, Adrian Legg, Indigenous, Frank Vignola, etc) it's a great place to see a concert. Small, quaint little place. Not a bad seat in the house. Good acoustics. Good performers pretty much every night it seems. Love it. If you see that someone you like is performing at the Ark, don't hesitate... More

The Ark has live music almost every night. The quality of the performers are first-rate, and the price is always reasonable. More

Some of the best singer/songwriters and folk musicians play here with concerts almost every night. The venue is very small, but lively. The Ark brings in all kinds of wonderful acts...many who don't normally play such a small venue. Check out their website for a complete list of upcoming shows. More
