Wednesday and Saturday are the primo times; the farmers market is in operation. Bring your own tote! Arrive at 7:30 and avoid the cost of parking. Sparrow meats in Kerrytown is a real old fashioned butcher shop. Monahans is pricey, but great fish. Worth the visit! Take home some farmers market eggs and discover what eggs should taste like.

I spent Saturday morning walking through the farmers market (a lot of the same things being sold at every booth - I've never seen so many radishes and celery root!) which was nice and only a little crowded. After that, I walked through some of the shops, most of which were very overpriced, but hey, that's Ann Arbor. Downside -... More

We are in Kerrytown at least once week. The homes and buildings are beautiful and well maintained and the brick streets add to the character of the area. Love the farmer's market, unique shops and restaurants.

Kerrytown is wonderful neighborhood. Lovely old homes turned into university apartment living. Lots of good shops and restaurants like Zingermans.

Overrated is the word for most of Ann Arbor. Kerrytown is no exception. It is worth a visit but plan on parking in a garage nearby because the available spots are few and hard to reach. Besides, you get a ticket within seconds of meter expiry.

I was planning a brief trip to Ann Arbor and saw the reviews for Kerrytown so made a plan to go there. I was not disappointed. We were there on a Wednesday in May and were glad to find there were many vendors outside. I did not know there was an outside set-up area. Escpecially nice that it is covered... More

Kerrytown offers a number of shops and dining opportunities. I particularly enjoy Monahan's for a quick informal meal or fresh seafood to take home for dinner. Try the soups, particularly the shrimp gazpacho.

Park where you can, shop the farmer's produce, and then into Kerrytown for the crafts and great food stalls. it's open more than Saturday, of course, but if you time it right, you can hear the carillon - or even have a change to play it yourself.

Kerrytown still has some great food stalls and market, but far fewer shops and a number of empty spaces.
