I went to the museum on a Sunday, I looked around the permanent exhibits and saw the planetarium show. It was a great variety of themes, the planetarium was also fun. It was very informative. A U of M student was the narrator and he gave the visitors a chance to ask questions and see specific things if we wanted.... more

Great place to take kids. They will love the dinosaur bones. The exhibits are getting dated though (no pun intended). Overall, a nice place to spend 1-4 hrs depending on how much you want to read about each exhibit. There's also a planetarium, but I haven't seen it... Down the street is South University Ave with plenty of bookstores, coffeeshops... more
