Traffic congestion. Building architecture is first rate. Appears to be a very walkable campus. Well planned integration of new and older buildings.

Big campus, and even bigger with the North Campus. Lots of buildings, some actually interesting and the same can be said for the students.

We took our daughter for Tech Day 2014 which is for the College of Engineering. The experience was great. We got plenty of useful information both about the various types of engineering and what is required of a student wanting to go to UM financial aid etc. They provided plenty of visual exhibits for us to see and students to... really enjoyed walking around and seeing the campus. Larger and nicer than I expected. Had a lot to offer in terms of shops, restaurants, coffee, and sidewalk art.

It's true. I am not an alum, don't live in Michigan, I am a die-hard Duke fan and I still wanted to visit the Big House. I got my wish on September 13th. Gorgeous day! There was a fabulous flyover celebrating the Star Spangled Banner celebration and a Bald Eagle flying over the stadium before the game. Groups of strong... More

Our son is in graduate school here. We visited last weekend and he gave us a tour of the Taubman School of Architecture, where he is pursuing a Master's in Architecture. A first-rate facility with students working on projects at all hours.

A great public university. They have buildings all over the city. The center is the Quad with a M in the middle. The quad is always filled with students or protesters.

Of course the University of Michigan is one of top public universities in the world, with its' stunning architecture and impressive list of alumni. But nothing compares to the atmosphere in the city of Ann Arbor on a Saturday morning before a football game. The air is electric, everyone is clad in maize and blue, and you can't help but... More
