Very well presented, informative museum that not only pleased the eye but gave us lots of detail about the Bolivian culture. Very hands on and we went away knowing and respecting much more about the indigenous population and their history.

Really lovely artworks at very reasonable prices. Some of the nicest I've seen in Bolivia. Just beware, the address has changed and the museum is now up next to the Mirador Cafe.

We were offered an English guide booklet on arrival containing translation of all the Spanish annotations to exhibits (despite what the previous reviewer said).
The site is made up of 8-10 small rooms and unless you are fanatical about textiles you can easily see everything in 45mins.

The Museo de Arte Indigena is in a lovely old building on San Alberto. There are a series of exhibition rooms and a shop selling woven goods. Unfortunately there is no information in English and guide books are just in Spanish. It is therefore useful to visit with a knowledgeable guide.
