The band was worth the stop. Entertaining music and it was a different changing of the guard to what we have seen in other cities. Well worth the visit.

First, people often think the Presidential Palace is the castle-like grey palace on top of a hillis. Wrong, this one belongs to the police. The Presidential Palace looks like a big mansion from the south of France. Second, it is hidden behind the trees and can only be seen from one spot. Third, you cannot et close from it. But...

This is the president's "summer house", you can appreciate it while walking in the "avenida peru". it's a nice place, but i'm not sure if you can visit. It's up the castillo hill. "cerro Castillo"
