WOW, pretty nice uncrowded beach, located very close to Vina. Good parking, several resturants within walking distance, several cheap hotels also.

I was quite disappointed with the city, and this seaside is no different -- lots of homeless dogs, garbage everywhere. Definitely not the worse in town, but can't recommend.

We were here one afternoon with some chilean friends, it was explained to us that rich chileans come and buy apartments as weekend places to have to get out of santiago, great place very clean and a couple of med-to-expensive restaurant around. Nice seagulls around and pelicans can be viewed on the beach.

If you like to wander around small tourist towns and visit tourist market stalls, MacDonalds, Burger King and the like then this is the place for you. It does have a nice beach though.

The water here is cold, and many areas are no swimming beaches because of the undertow, but you can walk for miles on the promenade and enjoy the beach activity and atmosphere. The wind can be a bit cool, so bring a light sweater.

Often referred to as the ritzy neighbourhood north of Vina del Mar. The beaches are a bit nicer, although often more crowded in the summer. The tourists are less local (compared to the beaches in Vina) and are more often than not, Argentinians staying for a few weeks in the South American summer in the condos across the street. Worth... My wife, 11 year old daughter and I ventured onward to Vina Del Mar and Renaca, Chile this past Christmas vacation of 2013. Due to rave reviews from friends/expats in the US, we have been talking about visiting here for quite a while. We were sorely underwhelmed by this place in the world, to say the least. Let me begin... More

There are great views of sea lions & a good variety of coastal bird life. It was overcast, but my cheap Irish skin burned to a radiant pink

over-priced tourist trap...have a quick look and go elsewhere! This is a nice beach town but restaurants and services are unreasonable!
