I did this trip with friends 12 years ago, so this time when I went with my partner, I insisted on doing it again. We booked at the hotel and were collected from there. An hours drive and you arrive, you are taken into the reserve and stop at a small tree'd area to see a falcon show. Then onto... More

About 30 km outside Dubai City a visit to this nature reserve is an excellent way of introducing you to the desert landscape and its flora and fauna. We went with Arabian Adventures in a 4-wheel drive land cruiser that was ideal for driving off-road on the dunes. Be warned that the dune driving can be uncomfortable and I would... More

I loved the dessert safari. They charged us AED 300 which included a buggy ride on the sand dunes, camel ride, activities and dinner in a camp - including belly dance, tanu dance, BBQ dinner, pics in the local dress, and other activities. It was quite a different experience. Dinner was good, a delight for the non-vegetarians. The dances were... More

Our driver was superb. We went up and down dunes over the sides of them with the sand spraying. I admit I was clutching the seat every once in awhile but everyone else just laughed. We visited some camels and petted them in their enclosure. Altogether a fun extra excursions!

Oryx, falcons, gazelles, dune bashing, delicious food, camels, henna painting! This is a well organized tour. Our driver/guide Raheel picked us up from our hotel and took us on an adventure!

From the start it was great. Our driver picked us up from the Hotel and was on time. He was very friendly and spoke English very well. On the drive to pick up the other passengers he did a little site seeing telling us some of the places we were passing. The overall experience of riding the dooms was fun.... More
