I have taken this desert safari with my family of 8 members including younger children and parents. First afraid of going with family. But no problem with children they have also had great fun. Travelling in desert with land cruiser is a great experience. We have taken pictures with eagles in the desert. After the safari we proceed to belly... More

The DDCR is a unique way to experience the dessert. It is literally teaming with gazelle and Arabian Oryx. The environment varies from larger to smaller sand dunes to areas full of vegetation where you'll find many of the animals. Admitedly the areas with higher levels of flora are only possible due to the high level of man made irrigation... More

Great way to end my fabulous holiday!! Such a wonderful day here in the desert. The 4 x 4 pick you up from your hotel as arranged, they then take you on a 1-2 hour drive to the desert. The driver of the 4 x 4 shows you how they should be driven on the sand dunes :) very fun... More

First the positives.. -The 4 x 4 ride over the dunes to the base was great fun -The 2 acts we saw were very good and interative. And now the negatives... -Greenland tourism's terrible service. They were very late, highly disorganised and half way through the journey to the desert base, accused 2 customers of sneaking on! -The camel ride... More

We had a great day in the conservation reserve on our desert safari. Lots of animals to see and some dunebashing along the way. Great day out and a must for everyone.

I opted for a wildlife tour of the dubai desert conservation reserve with arabian adventures. You can also go to a different part and do an overnight camp or take the 4 wheel drive experience. I was pleasantly surprised by the trip. I had been to some private barbecues in the "desert" but was always a little disappointed as I... More

We booked our tour through one of the many companies online and they picked us up and dropped us off at our hotel. We booked a short morning tour but that was more than enough for us. After a short ride to the reserve we took off across the dunes. We saw some desert wildlife and stopped often for pictures.... More

It was soooo much fun! It's about a total of 6-7 hours. The company we had booked through had picked us up from the hotel and also dropped us back. The food, the entertainment and the epic camel ride were amazing. The roller coaster through the desert was unpredictable. If you have stomach issues, I suggest sitting in the front.... More
