I loved going into the desert. We did afternoon, which I feel was the best, since is so hot but cooler during the evenings. Great food, belly dancing. As for the camel ride well just more like a camel hop on and off. Just be careful who you book with. We did it through the Sightseeying Bus and we were... More

This was the best day in Dubai. A falcon demo, a ride in the dunes and and a dinner and belly dancing at a Bedouin Camp including a camel ride and tasting camel chocolate. Our driver Aziz was informative, energetic, helpful and extremely well spoken.

I wanted to get some culture for my children (6 and 2 years old). So we booked this safari trip. We were initially apprehensive taking our 2 year old but the company provided a car seat for her so she was safe. Because we hS children we had to go private which meant paying 1969 AED for the whole car.... More

We had unbelievable, extreme safari with jeep through the desert (Thank you driver), camel riding, sandboarding, falconry display, banquet, dinner-show involvement and a henna tattoo on my arm. It was worth it.

The desert is incredibly beautiful, and the ride through the dunes was exciting. We saw oryx (one of 4 antelope species native to the Arabian Peninsula) camels, a falconry demonstration and ate dinner under the stars in a Bedouin tent.

This charming evening tour and meal was perfect. I chose the camel option and was very happy that I did. What better way to travel across the dunes than on the gently swaying back of a camel? Kinder to the dunes too than jeeps. Saw wildlife along the way and after 45 mins met up with other travellers for refreshments... More

This was my first time in an actual desert and it was beautiful, and so vast! Loved seeing the wild gazelles and oryx, and learning more about how people used to live in the desert. Such an awesome landscape. And the reserve is great because it offers protection to all the wildlife. Definitely something to see when in the area!

I have done the typical dubai desert tour twice now. Always fun! Of course very touristy, lots of companies run the tour, with different options (for example quad biking). You drive out to the desert, do a bit of 4 wheel driving over the dunes, arrive at a camp. there is camel rides, henna, carpet shops, falcons all available (for... More
