Sunrise Hot Air Balloon ride is.a MUST! We booked via Viator tours. One of the best excursions we have ever done. The sand dunes at sunrise are beautiful. Plus the Arabian Onyx are out to see in the AM.

It was really nice afternoon. If you go for this trip, you can go through the desert by a 4x4 car, you can get a ride on camel, or have a oriental dinner in desert, or you can have a typical "sheesha". We had to pay 125 AED for this, what is approximately 30 EUR, but every provider of this... More

A great conservation area. Bird life at all the ponds and a small lake. You can enjoy the site on a bicycle during cool weather from late September till early April. The track runs along the reserve.

Well worth the drive. A great conservation area. Bird life at all the ponds and small lake. Stay on the correct roads or I imagine you could get stuck in the sand. We were told you can also camp overnight. Abundant animal tracks leading to and from the watering holes.

Highlight of trip. What a contrast to mad built up monied Dubai. We booked an early morning 4 wheel drive tour with Desert Rangers. No one else in the desert... Only us! Thrilling dune bashing and just a wee bit frightening! Arrived at camp and had 15 min camel ride. The camel owner loved his darlings- Sheila & Champagne! Glad... More

I specifically asked my friend to book this before I even visited Dubai. I was afraid at being occupied at malls and modern buildings that I may not be able to feel what the culture is really like. I had a really fantastic experience. The driver picked us up from our residence. We went driving a 4x4 first. It was... More
