We went with Platinum Heritage Tours in vintage Land Rovers. The dune ride is gentle, but exciting. Out guide was excellent. The falconry demonstration was excellent, as was the traditional Arab dinner in the desert.

This was a highlight for me. I loved riding the dunes with a driver who knew exactly how to manoeuvre his vehicle in the desert condition. I can't wait to go again. The meal was good and entertainment at the Oasis was of top quality A very sad sight was the litter(and a lot of it, widely spread) we found... More

We went on a desert safari with a fantastic company who took us to a Bedouin village in the middle of the desert. We learnt about the history of the people and enjoyed a traditional Arabian breakfast Well worth going.

Our small tour of 6 took us to the Arabian Desert inside Dubai. The beauty of this unique desert and it's natural habitat made for a relaxed and serene retreat from the city. What struck me most was the quiet. Absolutely still. There was desert wild life everywhere, but quickly scattered away when humans approach. We enjoyed a boxed lunch... More

This is the experience for all to enjoy in Dubai. It is the one thing that everyone should do whilst in Dubai. I did the tour with Arabian Adventures. They collect you at your Hotel and take you out to the desert. After a Falcon information show everyone gets in the four wheel drives for some great fun in the... More

This was the experience I wanted when I came to Dubai. The dunes ride was exciting; up and down, dune after dune in a four-by-four, thinking the vehicle would turn over, but the driver was very skilled at this. The highlight was the opportunity to ride a camel. I've never experienced anything like this before, but it was the ride... More
