Trick to a good "Dune Bashing" experience is to find the right Inbound Tour Operator. i was lucky find this inbound operator in Al Fahidi near Almulla Plaza, these guys are very friendly and helpful. For a good "Dune bashing" Hire a Toyota Landcruiser. Some of them offer H2 for dune bashing, but i would recommend a Landcruiser. DO NOT... More

Doing tour such as the Dune Dinner Safari is a must, great way to have an Arabic experience. Pick up and drop off at hotels, food was great, included soft drinks and alcohol, shisha smoking, camel rides, henna and belly dancing.

I have been to deserts many times and had crazy sand dune adventure in other places, so going to the desert in Dubai was not my first choice initially. Since I was staying in Dubai for 6 days, I had quite some spare time for something fun and interesting especially I wanted to take some photo shots of the Dubai... More

This golf course has some interesting holes and some fine greens. It's fairly close to the water but all in all just an average experience. I would go with some of the other golf choices in Dubai.

Camel farm was interesting and spent just about the right amount of time there (15 minutes). Young camels and female camels ok but everything you've ever heard about male camels is true - don't get too close - those things are dangerous, grumpy and will get at you if they can. Have seen more easy going Cape Buffalo in South... More

We ventured into the conservation reserve as a part of an open Landrover tour which ended with a fine Bedouin dinner. The late afternoon tour of the reserve was excellent and we saw many onyx and gazelles as well as experiencing a trip in the real desert. The heat and dryness of the region really stands out and to find... More

Went on a desert safari with 'Lama Desert Safari Tours' this included a trip through the reserve and an evening entertainment with Belly Dancing and Free Food and soft drinks. A great experience, would recommend. Our driver was excellent, I think he was in charge of the 10 vehicle convoy as he appeared to organise the event and managed it... More

I visited as part of a "dinner safari" to a "Bedouin Camp". The higlight of the trip was not the dune ride, or the dinner, or the touristy entertainment (belly dancer, fortune teller, camel ride, etc) but just being in the desert. We arrived as the sun was setting, and the temperature cooled from about 95 F to maybe in... More

I have been there so many times. I love to visit this site more and more. Its fun to visit by seating in Land Cruiser roller coster. If your driver is experienced enough, you will really love this ride.
